Vengo a contar la maravillosa historia de la creación de Viajes por libros, una comunidad de lectura de amigos de todo el mundo.
Es un lugar seguro donde Emma Mejía, una persona curiosa y talentosa, quiso un día fomentar la lectura de los libros y compartir de manera divertida con otras personas la experiencia de la lectura. Y sí, ha sido una experiencia y explosión literaria de muchos avances y de compartir con los miembros de la comunidad.
Un espacio para compartir y aprender
Viajes por libros ha sido, personalmente, un lugar donde puedo compartir con amigos y leer de manera divertida. Además de leer, puedo conocer los puntos de vista de las personas que se conectan cada día.
Es como, cada día que toca la lectura, esperar microsaprendizajes para seguir aprendiendo nuevas formas de ver la vida. Y sí, ayuda mucho cuando estás aprendiendo y conoces gente con la misma pasión y curiosidad por la lectura. Es algo inexplicable.
Inspiración de Emma Mejía
Comparto la motivación de Emma Mejía de crear Viajes por libros:
"Desde muy pequeña, los libros han sido mi refugio seguro, un espacio para conectar conmigo misma y vivir aventuras increíbles.
Cuando creé Viajes por libros, lo hice con el objetivo de acercar a más personas a las lecturas. Los libros no tienen por qué ser aburridos; siempre podemos aprender, reflexionar y crecer a través de los mensajes en cada página."
El valor de fomentar la lectura
Como dice Emma, fomentar la lectura es aportar a las personas con su hábito de leer y ayuda a mejorar el gusto por la lectura. Sobre todo, en cada página se encuentran muchos aprendizajes y experiencias de otros autores que han dejado su legado en los libros.
Y, claro, tú sabes que crear un libro no es tarea fácil; se necesita mucha dedicación, experiencia y, sobre todo, tiempo para crearlo. Ahora imagina que tengas el hábito de leer las historias de las mejores mentes que han pasado por el mundo.
Sí, podrás desarrollar tu pensamiento y creatividad al leer. Poco a poco sentirás una pasión por la lectura inolvidable, que podrás compartir con tus amigos y familia.

A mí, en lo personal, me ha ayudado a tener el hábito de la lectura, a descubrir el gusto por las novelas, no solo leer sobre crecimiento personal, sino también sobre ficción. Uno de mis libros favoritos es de Star Wars porque me gusta todo lo relacionado con las historias acerca del universo, los carros voladores, y sobre todo la lucha de poder entre los Jedi y los Sith.
También hemos leído en grupo el primer libro, Deja de ser tú, de Joe Dispenza, donde los principales aprendizajes han sido los siguientes:
- Tienes que ser capaz de dejar los pensamientos antiguos para poder conocer otras maneras de pensar.
- Los tiempos cambian mientras vas despertando una nueva realidad.
- Es hora de cambiar los antiguos sistemas de pensamiento y adoptar una nueva manera de pensar.
- Aprende a manejar tu capacidad de observación para mejorar tu destino.
- Cambiar tu vida es cambiar tu energía.
Reflexionando
Ahora, reflexionando sobre estos 5 puntos: ¿alguna vez les ha pasado que como persona llegan esos pensamientos difíciles, como "esto es complicado", "no lo podré lograr", "me falta mucho"? Pues sí, a mí me ha pasado, y les cuento algo: fue principalmente cuando estaba aprendiendo inglés.
Esos eran pensamientos difíciles que se me venían a la mente, pero lo que tuve fue paciencia y el hábito de estudiar cada día. Claro, por nivel, es como si quisiera empezar a entender lecturas en inglés de nivel C, y estoy empezando. Sí, es complicado, pero si lo haces según tu nivel y usas una buena metodología, se puede.
Lo que hice aquí fue cambiar los viejos sistemas de pensamientos por unos nuevos, cambiar la actitud y, claro, buscar un propósito para practicarlo. Pero claro, no todo es color de rosa. Hay caídas en cuanto al aprendizaje, pero bueno, sigo adelante. Otra cosa que aplico es observar mis avances para saber que no estoy en el mismo lugar donde empecé. Eso me incentiva.

"Since I was very young, books have been my safe haven, a space to connect with myself and live incredible adventures.

My Experience in the Community

Personally, it has helped me develop the reading habit, discover a love for novels, and not just read about personal growth, but also about fiction. One of my favorite books is from Star Wars because I love everything related to the universe, flying cars, and especially the power struggle between the Jedi and the Sith.
We’ve also read the first book in the group, Deja de ser tú by Joe Dispenza, where the key learnings have been:
- You need to be able to let go of old thoughts in order to discover other ways of thinking.
- Times change as you awaken to a new reality.
- It’s time to change old thought systems and adopt a new way of thinking.

Reflecting
Now, reflecting on these five points
Have you ever experienced those tough thoughts like "this is hard," "I won’t be able to do it," "I still have a long way to go"? Well, yes, I’ve been there, and let me tell you something: it was mainly when I was learning English.
Those were difficult thoughts that came to my mind, but what I had was patience and the habit of studying every day. Of course, at my level, it’s like I want to start understanding C-level readings in English, and I’m just beginning. Yes, it’s tough, but if you do it according to your level and use a good methodology, it’s possible.
What I did was change the old thought systems for new ones, change my attitude, and, of course, find a purpose for practicing. But of course, not everything is perfect. There are setbacks in learning, but well, I keep going. Another thing I do is observe my progress to know I’m not in the same place I started. That motivates me.
