-Hoy he reído a carcajadas, esos sujetos son tan tontos. Realmente creen que pueden cambiar el pasado. – el periodista lanzaba su sonrisa a la conductora.
-Debe ser muy impresionante poder apreciar directamente esos hechos señor McGrath. Cuéntenos ¿Qué se siente viajar al pasado? – preguntó la joven conductora del noticiario.
-No es nada del otro mundo, verá soy de los pocos que tienen acceso a los viajes temporales, exclusivamente al pasado. Disfruto mucho entrar a la máquina que genera el mini agujero de gusano, no entraré en detalles porque realmente no tengo ni la menor idea de cómo funciona ese trasto, pero si puedo decirte que todo a tu alrededor se vuelve psicodélico y abstracto. – explicó el periodista.
-¿Por qué no escogió el periodismo hacia el futuro? – continuó interrogando la mujer.
-Verá, como todos sabemos la mayoría de los que han viajado al futuro no han regresado, eso tiene varias posibles respuestas, primera: el futuro es mejor que esta porquería de presente que estamos viviendo y decidieron quedarse, segunda: el futuro no existe y literalmente se jodieron, tercera: los sindicatos criminales han dominado ese sector y también se jodieron.
-Entonces, ya que hemos conocido sus opiniones ¿Podría usted explicarnos los beneficios del periodismo al pasado?
-Sí, en realidad el periodismo al pasado presenta muchas ventajas. Una de ellas es poder ver una y otra vez los sucesos del pasado desde distintos puntos de vista, como miembro de honor de la Asociación de periodistas reconozco que este tipo de periodismo revela la verdad absoluta de los hechos. Es una forma fiel de desenmascarar a los traidores y a los culpables. Es por esta razón que algunos países han trasladado sus seguridades nacionales al pasado, equipos anti espionaje y otras bestialidades.
-Disculpe que lo interrumpa señor, pero ¿cómo puede un periodista lograr hacer un buen trabajo entre tantas dificultades?
-Tienes mucha razón al decir que es difícil hacer periodismo de calidad viajando al pasado, a diario me tropiezo con personas contratadas para actuar en una escena determinada, ¡pero vamos amigos, todos ya sabemos que el pasado no se puede cambiar! Recuerdo una ocasión que trabajaba en el seguimiento de una noticia reciente sobre un matrimonio a punto de divorciarse. La novia traicionaba al esposo y este decidió cortar los lazos matrimoniales. Lo cierto es que todo fue una “fakenews”, mas hubo un individuo contratado por la agencia de noticias que viajó al pasado para besar a la mujer y probar así que en realidad hubo una traición que motivó la separación. Lo cierto fue que el hombre contratado al intentar besar a la mujer le cayó una maseta desde el cuarto piso de un edificio. Cuentan compañeros míos – McGrath se reía al recordar – que lo intentaron varias veces, una de ellas la cámara quedó sin batería y no pudieron tirar la foto. Realmente todo esto del viaje al pasado es una locura. Hasta agentes y detectives han recurrido a este recurso. – terminó la respuesta tomando un poco de agua.
-Ya para finalizar nuestro contacto ¿Qué mensaje tiene para aquellas personas que quieren viajar al pasado?
-Les digo que no intenten viajar para cambiar su futuro, esto es imposible, lo hecho, hecho está, acepten sus vidas y vivan el presente que deseen, solo así el pasado será el que ustedes querrán siempre. Si fuese mejor desistan de ir, hay más viajeros del tiempo que suscriptores de Facebook, por favor aprovechen su presente, no lo malgasten visitando su pasado. Muchas gracias.
