Una vez, en el bosque Noixelfer existió un inmenso árbol frondoso y colorido que llamaba la atención de todos los que por ahí pasaran; además de eso cada que alguien se acercaba, a un ritmo peculiar sus hojas bailaban. Un otoño, el viento quiso jugar y divertirse con las hermosas hojas del árbol pero este no las dejó, las agarraba con todas sus fuerzas con temor a perderlas.
Una tierna abuelita con su cabello cubierto de canas que pasaba por ahí y observó la situación, se acercó a él admirando su grandeza y hermosura para después aconsejarle con amor y dulzura: "Mi amado pequeño gran árbol, dale a tus hojas la maravillosa libertad que la naturaleza te ha dado a ti, sé que te encariñaste con ellas, pero si no las dejas ir con el viento de este otoño, no habrá espacio para las nuevas hojas que quieren nacer de ti. Te comparto un secreto, cada vez que sueltes algo amado, aun con miedo, siempre te llegará algo nuevo".
El árbol, miro el viento y alzó la vista para ver a sus queridas hojas. Pensó en lo vacío que quedaría al no tenerlas con él, y una lágrima derramó. La anciana sin juzgarlo y entendiéndolo, sonrió y le dijo "La tristeza te ayuda a limpiar todo lo que te ensucia por dentro, y donde hay un vacío, hay lugar para lo nuevo. El viento de la vida es sabio y tiene conocimiento de aquello que viene para ti, dale la oportunidad de que te lo muestre.
El árbol comenzó a soltar sus hojas aún con tristeza y miedo a la incertidumbre, pero notó que poco a poco, sus hojas se habían convertido en una alfombra que lo adornaba y al mismo tiempo la luz del sol las hacía brillar.
Con el paso de las semanas, llegó la primavera y pequeñas hojas verdes comenzaron a brotar de sus ramas, donde cada nueva hoja le recordaba, la recompensa que le llegaba por haber dejado ir lo que más amaba.
Once upon a time, in the Noixelfer forest, there was a huge, leafy, and colorful tree that caught the attention of everyone who passed by; furthermore, every time someone approached, its leaves danced to a peculiar rhythm. One autumn, the wind wanted to play and have fun with the beautiful leaves of the tree, but it would not let them go, holding on to them with all its might for fear of losing them.
A sweet grandmother with her hair covered in gray passed by and observed the situation. She approached the tree, admiring its greatness and beauty, and then lovingly advised it: "My beloved little big tree, give your leaves the wonderful freedom that nature has given you. I know you have grown fond of them, but if you do not let them go with the wind this autumn, there will be no space for the new leaves that want to be born from you. I will share a secret with you: every time you let go of something you love, even with fear, something new will always come to you."
The tree looked at the wind and raised its gaze to see its beloved leaves. It thought about how empty it would be without them, and a tear fell. The elderly woman, without judging and understanding it, smiled and said, "Sadness helps you cleanse everything that dirties you from the inside, and where there is a void, there is room for the new. The wind of life is wise and knows what is coming for you; give it the chance to show you."
The tree began to release its leaves, still with sadness and fear of uncertainty, but it noticed that little by little, its leaves had turned into a carpet that adorned it, and at the same time, the sunlight made them shine.
As the weeks passed, spring arrived, and small green leaves began to sprout from its branches, where each new leaf reminded it of the reward that came for having let go of what it loved most.
