Cuando digo que escribo poesía erótica es inevitable causar una expresión en el rostro de mi interlocutor. Puede ser de asombro, curiosidad, o una del más allá.
Pero ya va... yo sé que el tema puede prestarse para despertar pasiones indebidas pero lo que busco con mis textos no es eso.
When I say that I write erotic poetry it is inevitable to cause an expression on the face of my interlocutor. It may be one of astonishment, curiosity, or one from beyond.
But I know that the subject can arouse undue passions, but that's not what I'm looking for with my texts.
Cuando leí la Antología Poética de María Calcaño, una poeta venezolana (1906-1956), quedé fascinada porque sus poemas reflejan emociones; muchas reprimidas para la época, de una mujer que amó, soñó, lloró y sufrió, desde mi punto de vista, sufrió mucho, encontrando en la escritura un refugio erótico y fatal.
¡Vaya qué refugio!, pues Calcaño cursó estudios hasta tercer grado pero gracias a la lectura fue poetisa autodidacta; se casó a los 12 años y antes de los 30 ya tenía 6 hijos.
Para muchos... Wow! si fuera en esta época.
When I read the Antología Poética of María Calcaño, a Venezuelan poet (1906-1956), I was fascinated because her poems reflect emotions; many repressed for the time, of a woman who loved, dreamed, cried and suffered, from my point of view, suffered a lot, finding in writing an erotic and fatal refuge.
Calcaño studied up to third grade, but thanks to her reading she was a self-taught poetess; she married at the age of 12 and before she was 30 she already had 6 children.
For many... Wow! if only it were this time of year.
Así que hace algún tiempo, leyendo a Calcaño, me inspiré para escribir algunos poemas.
Yo siempre me inspiro en algo o en alguien para escribir; no sirvo cuando me dicen escribe algo ahí... porque sí, porque tú sabes escribir.
En ese momento pasaba por situaciones personales dolorosas y al igual que Calcaño, en la poesía encontré un refugio.
Aquí comparto uno de mis textos.
Primero lee el poema para ti, para que lo conozcas. Luego repite la lectura en voz alta; con pasión, emoción, sentimiento; recuerda que es un poema. Conéctate.
Cuando duele
El amor duele cuando no te aman
Cuando no te desnudan con la mirada
Cuando no importa si estás hoy o mañana
Cuando despiertas sola estando acompañada
El amor cuando duele, duele...
Y no hay quien repare esa alma
So some time ago, reading Calcaño, I was inspired to write some poems.
I'm always inspired by something or someone to write; I'm no good when they tell me to write something there... just because, because you know how to write.
At that time I was going through painful personal situations and like Calcaño, I found refuge in poetry.
Here I share one of my texts.
