Hoy estuve leyendo varias publicaciones de Literatos, y vaya que hay tanto talento, y en especial leyendo y aprendiendo de posts con poesía, lindos escritos con esos mensajes y figuras dibujadas con palabras, pinturas artísticas pinceladas en letras. Y me inspiró a retomar ese gusto por escribir poemas y canciones, al ritmo de los playlists que de fondo sirven para soltar palabras e ideas, diluyéndose todo en una mezcla encantadora, por lo menos para mi, jaja.
Acá una lineas que comenzaron como un poema, y que luego fui estructurando más tipo canción. Pulso lo escribí mientras escuchaba I am the highway de la banda Audioslave y Welcome Home (Sanitarium) de Metallica. Poco o nada tienen que ver estas rolas, pero sus ritmos me sirven de base para soñar imágenes y luego plasmarlas con el teclado. Aquí les va:

esquivando zombies en la ciudad

una metropolis ardida
disfrazada de oro y plasmas
atento camino junto a los lobos
con sus trajes de corderos influencers

no es un semáforo falso
ni trucos de circo
es un pulso

ENGLISH VERSION
Today I was reading several Literatos posts, and wow, there's so much talent, especially reading and learning from posts with poetry, beautiful writings with those messages and figures drawn with words, artistic paintings brushstrokes in letters. And it inspired me to resume that love of writing poems and songs, to the rhythm of playlists that serve as a background for releasing words and ideas, dissolving everything into a delightful mix, at least for me, haha.
Here are some lines that started as a poem, and which I later structured more like a song. Pulse I wrote it while listening to I am the highway by the band Audioslave and Welcome Home (Sanitarium) by Metallica. These songs have little or nothing to do with each other, but their rhythms serve as a basis for me to dream up images and then capture them on the keyboard. Here it goes:

dodging zombies in the city
with their promises and ivory towers
with their neon lights they manage to lie to us

and even though the compass is broken
I always have a pulse
they're not broken signals
or circus tricks
it's a pulse
a heartbeat

a burning metropolis
disguised in gold and plasma
I walk carefully alongside the wolves
with their influencer sheep suits
beautiful smiles and expensive gyms
while they sell their mothers

and even though the exits are blocked
I always have a pulse
it's not a fake traffic light
or circus tricks
it's a pulse
a heartbeat
