Veía con malos ojos a los "locos" (preciso aclarar que no me refiero a los casos clínicos, sino a aquellos que a menudo piensan "fuera de la caja"), hasta que me di cuenta que, yo ni siquiera aparecía en los de ellos.
Vivir en el mundo de la sordera selectiva los ha hecho avanzar bastante, porque a menudo les gusta retar al mundo, logrando dos cosas. O lógicamente terminar fallando estrepitosamente mientras una ola de "te lo dije" los arrastra, o terminan cambiando la manera de ver las cosas a un nivel tan alto, que de locos pasan a ser genios.
Si admito que a menudo he querido pertenecer a los locos, porque ser cuerdo no me es suficiente, pero es que el miedo a caer me detiene, como si ya quedarme estático no me estuviera afectando ya. Una ironía tras otra.
Le pregunté en algún momento a un loco por el "que dirán" y me dijo que no lo conocía, porque estaba muy ocupado pensando en hacer algo que revolucionara su espíritu, y no el de los otros.
No termino de entenderlos, muchos se ven felices, aunque claramente no lo son. Digo, ¿Cómo vas a ser feliz sin teniendo el mundo en contra? ¡qué les sucede? Pues parece que eso es exactamente lo que quieren. Tal parece que de ese lado, no los molestan y pueden florecer.
Ellos son sujetos muy agradables, colaboradores, y nada envidiosos (aclaro: me he conseguido con especímenes extraños que pertenecen a la tribu de los locos, pero que no son para nada agradables, cuidado con estos ejemplares). No suelen andar en manadas, son solitarios pero muy sociables. Toda una fascinación.
Supongo que debo seguir investigando un poco, porque no puedo estar seguro si al no pertenecer a la tribu, puedes formar parte de ella más adelante, pasando por todo un proceso de iniciación. Muchos expertos presumen que todos los humanos tienen "el gen del loco" pero que no todos pueden despertarlo, por lo que en esencia, todos somos locos, unos despiertos y otros dormidos.
Falta mucho por aprender, tan solo les doy una ligera idea de lo que esto puede significar, pero sin duda, es un gran avance en el entendimiento social y las buenas costumbres.

I used to look down on the "crazies" (I should clarify that I am not referring to clinical cases, but to those who often think "outside the box") until I realized that I did not even appear in theirs.
Living in the world of selective deafness has made them quite advanced, because they often like to challenge the world, achieving two things. Either they logically end up failing miserably while a wave of "I told you so" sweeps them away, or they end up changing the way they see things to such a high level, that they go from crazy to genius.
I admit that I have often wanted to belong to the crazy ones, because being sane is not enough for me, but the fear of falling stops me as if staying static wasn't already affecting me. One irony after another.
At some point, I asked a crazy man about "what will they say" and he told me that he didn't know him because he was too busy thinking about doing something that would revolutionize his spirit and not that of others.
I don't quite understand them, a lot of them look happy, even though they clearly are not. I mean, how can you be happy without the world against you, what's wrong with them? Well, it seems that's exactly what they want. It seems that on that side, they are not bothered and can flourish.
They are very nice, cooperative, and not at all envious (I clarify: I have met strange specimens that belong to the tribe of the crazy ones, but they are not at all nice, beware of these specimens). They do not usually hang out in herds, they are solitary but very sociable. Quite a fascination.
I guess I need to do some more research, because I can't be sure if by not belonging to the tribe, you can become part of it, later on, going through a whole initiation process. Many experts presume that all humans have "the crazy gene" but not everyone can awaken it, so in essence, we are all crazy, some awake and some asleep.
There is much to learn, I only give you a slight idea of what this may mean, but without a doubt, it is a great advance in social understanding and good manners.
