| Dulce y pueril romance estremece el sentir Su cuerpo joven tiembla y se obnubila el ser Nunca eclipsó su mente ante alguna mujer Pero frente a esta dama, no logra resistir Ella, mujer, lo sabe y el ego lo alimenta Saberse aún deseada, un regalo de vida A cambio, ella al mozo picardías convida Mientras él inocente con sueños se atormenta Ella lo llama niño mientras le coquetea En tanto él imagina que ella lo desea Pero es un simple juego, aunque ella niegue el nombre Sin malas intenciones, se alimenta un engaño que se torna en escuela, experiencias de años En el que fuera un niño y se convierte en hombre | Sweet and childish romance shudders the feeling His young body trembles and his being is dazzled He never eclipsed his mind in front of any woman But in front of this lady, he can not resist She, woman, knows it and her ego nourishes it Knowing she's still desired, a gift of life In exchange, she offers the young man a little naughtiness While he, innocent with dreams, torments himself She calls him a child while she flirts with him As he imagines she desires him But it's a simple game, though she denies the word With no bad intentions, a deception is nurtured That turns into a school, experiences of years In which he was a boy and becomes a man |

Tal como lo escribí en mi poema anterior, nunca he sido partidario de las traducciones de poema, pues estas requieren de una habilidad muy especial y un pleno dominio del idioma al que se va a traducir. Sin embargo, en esa publicación la excelente escritora @agmoore me dio razones que justifican esta actividad: la de facilitar la lectura a aquellas personas que no dominan bien el español, pero se interesan en literatura escrita en ese idioma. Al incluir la traducción le estamos facilitando la lectura e interpretación. Así que cambié de opinión y decidí que sí incluiré las traducciones en mis publicaciones, precisamente con la idea de apoyar a esos usuarios.
En esta oportunidad lo hago con el segundo soneto de una serie que pretendo ir publicando, para la cual me estoy atreviendo a hurgar en los versos alejandrinos. ¡Espero que sea del agrado de todos!
As I wrote in my previous poem, I have never been a supporter of poem translations, as they require a very special skill and a full mastery of the language to be translated into. However, in that post the excellent writer @agmoore gave me reasons that justify this activity: to make it easier to read for those who do not have a good mastery of Spanish, but are interested in literature written in that language. By including the translation we are making it easier for them to read and understand. So I changed my mind and decided that I will include translations in my publications, precisely with the idea of supporting those users.
In this opportunity I do it with the second sonnet of a series that I intend to publish, for which I am daring to delve into alexandrine verses. I hope it will be to everyone's liking!
