Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of The Witcher 3 Saga well let's say things unraveled a little too much, not for Geralt but for his dear friend Dandelion. After I met up with Zoltan at the Rosemary And Thyme where his inheritance was being filled with homeless bums and Zoltan busy kicking those bums out. We did however manage to find Dandelion's planner amidst the chaos.
The planner proved to be very much of help since Dandelion recorded almost every instance of his life in it all the meetings both for business and private and this gave us a staggering amount of leads to follow of who'm mostly all of them were women. Dandelion was more ladies man than I thought, although lately he might have over poured on his little cup.
Geralt and Zoltan split the names in two and we started ticking them down one by one by one. None of these women of the information they supplied proved of much use to Geralt and Zoltan.
All but one named Priscilla. Geralt and Zoltan are yet to track her down.
I was to meet Zoltan at the Kingfisher Inn after dark. He did mention something of finding Priscilla there, it sounded like some high end establishment.
On my way there I ran into some red priest spitting out foul things of Witchers, all things he made up no doubt. I confronted this priest infront of his own followers and although he was man enough to stand up to me, he must have thought that I would be the one backing off in turn but I stood my ground and struck fear deep into his heart.
Let's just say he didn't have much followers left after our little talk.
Priscilla's Performance.
I almost missed a once in a lifetime performance! As soon as I got there Zoltan was already there to greet me and told me to find a seat the show was about to start.
I would have never thought to expect the show that was given, I can see now why Dandelion has found a deep liking to Priscilla. She might be even better at her work that Dandelion.
They say Witchers don't have emotions but it was clear that this song gave Geralt more than feelings. He longed for something he once had but not anymore. The song touched him more than any else in the room, yet he himself didn't even know this.
After Priscilla's beautifull performance Geralt stood to give the applause that was deserved and while doing this a serving woman at the Inn confronted Geralt for murdering boys. Before we knew it almost everyone had their chip in and people were throwing around argument.
This was a place where the most noble of royal went and starting havoc there wasn't on the top of my list at all, luckily before that could happen Priscilla came to the rescue dragging us away.
It would seem that I don't need to introduce myself at all, Dandelion has spoke enough about me for her to know me all too well by now.
She preferred us talking somewhere where less ears were involved.
Seems We Aren't The Only One's Looking For Dandelion.
Priscilla is just as worried about Dandelion as Geralt and Zoltan. She hasn't heard from him in quite sometime and the last time she spoke to him he mentioned something about pulling of a heist.
This wasn't any heist though this was a heist on Sigi Rueven's vault.
This doesn't add up at all, Dandelion was no criminal and if he was how would he ever have the wits to pull off something so formidably dangerous to begin with. If he was caught during this heist he would not have made it out alive that is certain.
My worries now is that Priscilla hasn't heard anything from him ever since that night.
Sigi Rueven was one of the four criminals syndicates running the underworld of Novigrad. Which has me deeply worried for the well being of Dandelion. It's no place for him to go poking around in the lion's den. Damn him, what was he thinking to achieve!
Priscilla says that he was trying to help a friend in need but he dared not even whisper the name of this friend. Who she believe is another one of his lady friends. I do hope he had put himself in all this danger because of Ciri otherwise I see no good that may come of it.
I spared no delays and went straight to Sigi Rueven's establishment which was a bathhouse for all those who were willing to pay a hefty amount of coin.
Fortunately Sigi Reuven was willing to see me at this late hour, he was still conducting some business at this hour and it would seem that I could play a crucial part in his plans. Otherwise he would not have invited me to join in on this meeting.
One thing that struck me curious was the fact that three of the four criminal underworld bosses were having a meeting together? This led me to think why the fourth is not there?
From what I could gather is that none of them are happy with this Whoreson Junior fella. Well they need only ask and I'll find him and deal with him, not after I've gotten what I need from him though.
Well this really clears things up.
We weren't conversing for very long when all of a sudden Whoreson Junior's thugs came in wrecking the place up.
This is quite ironic to say the least since Whoreson Junior knew about the meeting that was to take place yet he did not show. Instead a whole gang of his men came showing up, armed to the teeth.
What bothered me was the fact that the other three criminal syndicates seemed to be afraid that Whoreson is going to find and kill all of them?
How can three be scared of one? This Whoreson must be quite the fella.
Let's just say that Whoreson Junior has clearly not sent enough men to deal with the kings of Novigrad. Either that or he didn't expect a witcher in their midst.
Djikstra.
It would seem that Djikstra is back after being "missing" for a few years. Under a new name Sigi Reuven.
I wonder how many know of his past, I do suppose that is of no importance anymore. After the little bath house invasion by Whoreson's men we decided to get dressed and speak in private.
Djikstra has need of my services and with something somewhat very very delicate. Something that none else may hear.
I do wonder if this has anything to do with the heist Dandelion attempted!
Who would have guessed, it seems Djikstra was robbed after all and by the looks of it, it was quite a successfull raid. The perpetrators were able to make of with every last it of value he had locked away in his vaults.
Well this must mean that if it was Dandelion that pulled off this heist he must have made it out alive. Seeing that Djikstra has no idea who it was.
This is somewhat good news, although I might still need to put up a show even though I already know who stole his treasures.
Of-course I didn't want to deny Djikstra my investigating skills but more so if I "helped" him with this he would also start asking question about Dandelion and he had a lot of resources at his disposal and that is what we need right now. That is until he knows who stole his treasure.
Better not let him find out then hey.
There I was following the trail down in the sewers of Novigrad. More than often sewers are a dangerous place to wander about, this was even more dangerous.
This is why Djikstra chose this exact spot for the vaults location because not only was it guarded by Drowners it was also guarded by something more natural. Toxic mushroomss, I had to take the Pop's Mold Antidote before I was able to lurk about in the sewers. The mushrooms gave off toxic fumes and once inhaled by a human death was certain.
Whoever helped Dandelion with this heist had prior knowledge or planning about this.
The Great Escape.
Dandelion is certainly a clever little singer. I'd have thought that he would set off doing something like this with no planning at all. But this, this was beyond what I ever imagined he would be capable of pulling off.
The trail in the sewers ended near the waterfront, where I am assuming the valuables were loaded onto a boat and the hauled out of there in the dead silence of the night. With no ears to hear and no eyes to see they made it out of the town with no one even knowing a thing until it was far too late.
This explains Dandelion's sudden and abrupt disappearance.
I suppose Corinne Tilly's dreams are of far more value then I first thought.
