The press conference that just took place in Washington between Trump and Netanyahu will be remembered in history as the beginning of the end of the old Middle East as we know it.
Trump didn’t try to be diplomatic or play politics—he was blunt and direct, making statements that can only be described as a new Balfour Declaration.
1️⃣ The Palestinians will leave Gaza, no matter what. They have no other option: either they leave or they die. Once they leave, there will be no return. If they try to come back, they will be attacked again.
The real plan is now clear and openly discussed: the complete expulsion of Gaza’s 2 million Palestinians, not just a few thousand. The goal is to completely empty Gaza and expand Israel’s territory, just as Trump has previously suggested: "Israel is too small, and we need to make it bigger."
2️⃣ After the Palestinians are forced out, the U.S., not Israel, will take control of Gaza. The U.S. might deploy troops to eliminate Hamas entirely and then oversee the rebuilding of Gaza, turning it into a luxurious tourist destination.
3️⃣ When asked how exactly the U.S. would take over Gaza, Trump said: "We plan for this to be permanent ownership." In other words, America will occupy Gaza indefinitely and ensure Israel benefits from it.
4️⃣ He also confirmed that Egypt and Jordan will accept Palestinian refugees and that they won’t refuse his demand. He spoke with complete arrogance, implying that Arab leaders might reject Biden’s requests, but they won’t say no to him.
5️⃣ Netanyahu was clearly pleased, smiling throughout the conference. Afterward, he called Trump the greatest friend Israel has ever had.
6️⃣ Trump also stated that the U.S. is considering recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank, meaning Palestine would be completely erased from the map.
This is a turning point—there are no more illusions, and the confrontation is now direct. Trump doesn’t care about international reactions. He already withdrew from UNRWA and the UN Human Rights Council, claiming they are anti-Semitic.
Egypt has officially rejected any displacement of Palestinians and stated that it will not allow their land to be taken. Saudi Arabia also issued a strong statement rejecting forced displacement and made it clear that normalization with Israel is impossible without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
What does this mean?
It means we are witnessing the last days of the old Middle East. What comes next will change the region forever.
The map of the Middle East is about to be redrawn. In the coming days, we will see the last glimpse of the region as it is today before everything shifts. Either Palestine disappears entirely, or Arab unity forces the recognition of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
However, the latter is highly unlikely, because it would mark the beginning of Israel’s downfall.
So, only two options remain:
➡️ Accept forced displacement
➡️ Enter into direct confrontation—militarily and economically
Egypt has already deployed massive forces to the Egyptian side of Rafah, right at the border.
What happens next? No one knows. But the coming days will be crucial, and the region is about to face its most difficult challenge yet
