Visit the Military Museum with my friend Ferdous
I have been traveling in Dhaka for the past two months. Those of you who read my posts know that I don't like Dhaka city very much. There are a thousand reasons not to like it. But after that I like some things in Dhaka. First of all, there are various food offerings of Dhaka. And secondly, there are places to have fun in Dhaka. There is no entertainment anywhere in Bangladesh except a handful of two or four places outside Dhaka. But there are several museums in Dhaka. But I found the most interesting military museum in it.
I have long wanted to go there whenever I get a chance. I have been there once before. But on the day I went, the military museum was closed. As a result, he had to return disappointed from there. But when I went to Dhaka a month ago, I went there again with my friend Ferdous. This time though I went to check before going, the military museum was closed, not open. Anyway, that day I went to visit the IDB building with two friends. After going there, the two friends went directly to the military museum. Firstly, there was a problem going there and buying tickets at the counter. When I gave Rs 500 note while buying ticket, they said they don't have cash. The ticket price for both was Rs.200. I was very upset to hear that they do not have 500 rupees. Then of course Ferdous paid the ticket.
After buying the ticket and entering the military museum, I felt a fondness in my heart. Because I had a strong interest in various aspects of the military since childhood. Entering the Military Museum, I first saw some metal sculptures. They looked so alive. It seemed like army commandos were pointing their guns at us. Anyway, after photographing it, we headed towards the museum gate. All had to enter the museum through metal detectors. As I entered I saw for the first time the cannon used in ancient warfare to my right. The cannon was quite large. The song Twelve Pounder was written on the side. Perhaps this gun could fire a 12 pound shell. The cannon was mounted on a mobile stand. As a result, the cannon rotates like clockwork. It looked good. Next to the cannon is written the history of the use of cannon in Bengal.
