Preface to our auction
We have been filled up again for a long time, so the last account in our list will have to leave us with the current auction. Since the introduction of Guild Power (GP) and the seven-day timer, which prevents newcomers from making acute contributions, things have never been as tight again as they are now.
So far, I hadn't corrected the rankings of passive accounts and simply excluded newcomers from an impending auction, simply to save myself work. Because as soon as someone became active, I had to undo all the placements again.
However, with four passives and two zero-point accounts at the same time, it became clear to me to what extent @trppopoy4 would be in 20th place, although their position is currently secure. Certainly at least on the condition that not all passives suddenly become active before the end of an auction.
In order to be able to clearly see the last active positions that are actually at risk of being thrown out as well as the newcomers, I have therefore moved all passives down in their ranking this time. As a result, @j406d is currently in second last place if supposed active and the newcomers are in 16th and 17th despite having zero points.
I hope the current state of our auction for the end of this 202nd brawl is thus clear to all.
And while I did all this I think about not dealing with multiple tables but adding another column to our table with active/passive status, for having all in one table all the time. Looks like a good idea just now, so I'll think about it. Because if I imagine all accounts would be active, it becomes obvious to me how advancing less then 3641 DEC for a newcomer would not be enough for outpacing all other accounts' scores. That's exactly why before the probation times was introduced I usually did not juggle that much with the scores and tables and had simply singled out passives. Finally this is why I stroke the "scheduled for removal" part this time, because it's unlikely seeing all passives becoming active just now and it would have put a newcomer under unnecessary pressure without first understanding what's going on in these tables. So I'm curious how putting all in one table hopefully will make things more clear at first sight for better dealing with the seven day probation timer.
