SlothBuzz is a new Community/Tribe on HIVE. It is a general tag with emphasis on Crypto, Art, Music, Gaming, Creative content, and blogging. The tribe focuses on supporting small creators and great content. You can either post in the SlothBuzz website or use the #slothbuzz tag which earns you SLOTHBUZZ token.
Tokenomics
SlothBuzz has a Total supply of 10,142 coins and a circulating supply of 9734 coins as the rest was burned. It has a very low inflation of 6.9 Sothbuzz per day. Slothbuzzcurator is the main account (which holds more than 50% of the coin staked) which the team uses to do the curation, this ensures that the rewards are distributed to worthy content.
There is a buyorder created to buy back the token at 1.05 Hive per token.
Till now around 446 SlothBuzz tokens has been burned. The team uses slothburn account to burn the tokens. slothburn posts few times a week and also does curation, any reward earned in form of any HIVE coins are burned.
New Developments
- Tip bot: A new tipbot which slaps 0.01 SlothBuzz on any post by using the command !SLOTH. To use the Tipbot you need to stake 5 SlothBuzz tokens.
Cryptoradio.fm: Meet blockchain FM radio to enjoy the music 24x7. There are special shows on weekend.
Discord: Discord is buzzing with sloths using the KarinaYana chatbot tipping with tokens, NFTs etc to people with staked tokens. Hop on here to learn more.
Takeaway
I have joined the SlothBuzz community a week back and was excited by the engagement of the team. I bought some token after that and is pretty happy with that decision. The best way to earn SlothBuzz is by posting and getting rewarded for that. I am hearing they want to create a DAO in the future, so why wait, be a good sloth and start posting.

Awesome post @anandkj611 just a little point to mention, total supply is 420m, issued supply is just over 10k, don't want anyone getting confused by that, but with the low inflation of 6,9 per day, total supply is pretty irrelevant!

We focus on helping quality content creators achieve more visibility for good quality content. Please try keep posts with the tag on the focus of Music, Art, P2Egaming, comedy and fun. Although we do allow 'some' general content from our community, the tag is not designed to be a general use spam on every post tag.
As Sloth pointed out, circulating supply is currently under 10K with total supply 420m.
