Good morning my buzzing beauties, it's a new week, a new chance to shine! The sun is shining this morning, I've got some music on and I'm buzzing around! Playing catch-up is a sloth speciality, so over this weekend I added some more things to keep me busy and falling behind even more!
I joined #Deso the #socialfi platform, someone pointed me in the direction of a new product about to be dropped #focus. It's going to be the next big thing in the #socialfi space. Although, I've heard that multiple times over the years! Everything is going to be the next big thing! The next #eth killer! Or, whatever else people like to say!

Anyway, I hopped on over to the Deso wallet to explore more of the available apps and create a wallet. You know, it gives me Hive vibes, lots of frontends/apps linking together to create one massive #socialfi movement!
I mean they already have their 'decentralised' versions of everything, from Twitter to Snapchat and TikTok. The mobile app I downloaded is excellent! So good, I've not even opened the Twitter or Ecency mobile apps over the weekend!
The wallet creation was SIMPLE! I clicked the button, got my seed phrase and was in. Then I edited my profile to give myself a name, and done. No fussing, no fees, no hassle. Everything was off to a great start! I even received some free credits to get me started!
Creator coins on Deso are an awesome idea! Sort of like the reputation score here on Hive, users are able to buy and sell each others coins to show their value to the chain! I've linked the documentation info via the first link in this paragraph. There's so much information about Deso it's hard to read everything! Sloth and steady wins the race!

I have two accounts there, I did do it a while ago but can't remember what I used, I think MM but never created a profile. So did again and now there as TengoLoTodo. Will see what's what, I tend not to like these your own coin price sites. Last time I was on there it was all celebrity profiles so looked like a ton of bots. But the site is smooth to use.
We've just discovered it, everything seems pretty good so far. There have been a few people who have mentioned it's not their cup of tea. Lots of tribalism etc, but we just enjoy buzzing around. Quite enjoying the freedom just to post short content and interact with people. Good luck with it. Surprised it’s still around. They didn’t have the best start. I used to work for a Cosmos ecosystem validator and that was one of the chains we validated. I personally don’t deal with anything in that ecosystem anymore. The community drama is ridiculous.
We're just dipping our toes into it, seems pretty interesting so far, everything seems to work great, haven't encountered any network drops like we have here on hive. Also, no drama yet. I mean, Hive isn't the best example of a drama free #socialfi!
I'll keep dipping my toes for the foreseeable, see how things develop. There's a few Hive users there that we've bumped into already. Can't hurt to have eggs in different baskets, especially when it didn't cost us anything to get invivoled.
Glad you are having a good experience so far. Hopefully things have gotten better in that ecosystem.

When I was validating, the actual platform wasn’t even ready yet, so glad it’s working out for you. I am personally not touching anything in that ecosystem just out of personal principles. Got burned pretty bad over there in the last cycle.
What do you think of the DeSo community, so far?
So far I'm pretty impressed. We've received a good amount of interactions and 'diamonds'. I think there are more bots there than Hive, however it's a lot easier to get started and involved in the chain there. So far there's been no drops in the network and everything seems pretty smooth and easy to use.
