Hola a todos, espero que estén bien y que hayan tenido un lindo día, hoy les quiero contar sobre la trilogía que he estado leyendo estos últimos días, se trata de la trilogía los Guardianes de una de mis autoras favoritas, Nora Roberts. Está es una historia magnífica de romance y fantasía que me ha encantado, con su narrativa atrayente y fluida que hace que no quieras soltar el libro y seguir a ver qué pasa a continuación, como siempre la autora Roberts nos sorprende con sus historias llenas de misterio, de lucha y amor. Una de las frases que caracterizan está obra y que se repite en los tres libros es “Sangre y muerte”. Para darles una introducción a esta trilogía les debo contar que es la historia de cuatro diosas hermanas, de las cuales una tiene ansias de poder, de destrucción. Las tres diosas hermanas le han hecho un regalo a la nueva reina de la isla de cristal, cada una le ha regalado una estrella con un don especial, las estrellas de fuego, agua y hielo, pero Nerezza, la diosa deseosa de destrucción les ha lanzado un hechizo para que caigan y obtener su poder. Es por esto que las tres hermanas han escondido las estrellas en sitios donde ella jamás las podría tomar y han hecho que sus descendientes sean los que acaben con este mal y sean ellos los encargados de llevar las estrellas a su lugar y acabar con Nerezza.
Libro 1
Las Estrellas de la Fortuna
Esta historia empieza con Sasha, una artista que desde el 1 de enero ha estado teniendo visiones y sueños sobre un grupo de guerreros que luchan por encontrar una estrella, ese grupo está compuesto por 6 personas, 3 hombres y 3 mujeres, de las cuales una de es ella. Es por esto que viaja a la isla de griega de Corfú, el lugar donde suceden esas visiones. Al llegar se encuentra en el hotel con dos de las personas de su sueño, Riley, una arqueóloga y Bran, un hombre que parece normal. Ambos están en la misma búsqueda de las estrellas de la fortuna. A partir de aquí Sasha se convierte en el nexo que une a este grupo y se le van añadiendo las tres personas que faltan para encontrar la primera estrella, la estrella de fuego, pero esto no pasará hasta que el grupo esté unido siendo un grupo de un mago, un arqueólogo, un vagabundo, un luchador, un ermitaño y la vidente. Pero en este proceso de conocer a los otros nace una atracción muy intensa entre Bran y Sasha la cual deberán aceptar a pesar de las luchas que deben enfrentar a diario.
Libro 2
“La Bahía de los Suspiros”
Encontrada la estrella de fuego los guardianes han viajado a la isla de Capri a encontrar la estrella de agua, y quién mejor para encontrarla que la princesa del mar. En este punto de la historia ya se conocen los integrantes del grupo, se han convertido en amigos, pero será suficiente?. Se sabe la naturaleza de cada uno: La vidente, el hechicero, la licántropo, el inmortal, el viajero y la sirena, no ha sido fácil el descubrirlo y mostrar las verdades a lo largo de los días, primero deberá haber confianza unos en otros y eso se ha logrado, a partir de aquí toca luchar como una unidad. Annika, la sirena siente un profundo afecto por el viajero Sawyer pero no puede decírselo, va en contra de las reglas de las sirenas, y además de que pudiera sentir lo mismo que ella sabe que deberá regresar al mar al cabo de dos meses, podrán estar juntos a pesar de eso?. Por otro lado, Nerezza perdió la primera batalla por subestimar al grupo, pero está vez reclutará a Malmom, un hombre cruel y ambicioso que luchará con ella para destruir a los guardianes y llevarle las estrellas a Nerezza.
Libro 3
La Isla de Cristal
Al tener dos de las 3 estrellas, la estrella de fuego y la estrella de agua los guardianes deberán viajar a Irlanda para conseguir la estrella de hielo. Par Doyle el estar en Irlanda es regresar a un pasado lleno de dolor, al día en que perdió a su hermano a manos de una bruja y el inicio de su maldición, la inmortalidad, ver a su generación morir uno a uno y el nunca envejecer y morir, Doyle ha vivido más de 300 años y Riley como arqueóloga tiene tantas preguntas que hacerle. Entre ellos ha nacido una conexión especial, no es como con otras personas del pasado, es especial, pero Doyle podrá abrirse a una relación sabiendo que Riley va a envejecer y morir?. Por otro lado, la batalla contra Nerezza no termina cuando encuentren la tercera estrella, también hay que regresarlas a la Isla de Cristal y librar la última batalla.
Para mí está historia ha sido magnífica, me ha gustado bastante el primer libro (es mi favorito), los otros dos me han gustado bastante, han sido unas historias apasionantes y el desenlace me ha encantado.

The nature of each one is known: the seer, the sorcerer, the lycanthrope, the immortal, the traveler and the mermaid, it has not been easy to discover and show the truths throughout the days, first there must be confidence in each other and that has been achieved, from here it is time to fight as a unit. Annika, the mermaid feels a deep affection for the traveler Sawyer but she cannot tell him, it is against the rules of the mermaids, and besides the fact that she could feel the same as her, she knows that she will have to return to the sea after two months, can they be together in spite of that? On the other hand, Nerezza lost the first battle for underestimating the group, but this time she will recruit Malmom, a cruel and ambitious man who will fight with her to destroy the guardians and bring the stars to Nerezza.
Book 3
The Crystal Island
Having two of the 3 stars, the fire star and the water star the guardians must travel to Ireland to get the ice star. For Doyle to be in Ireland is to return to a past full of pain, to the day he lost his brother to a witch and the beginning of his curse, immortality, to see his generation die one by one and to never grow old and die, Doyle has lived more than 300 years and Riley as an archaeologist has so many questions to ask him. Between them a special connection has been born, it is not like with other people from the past, it is special, but Doyle will be able to open himself to a relationship knowing that Riley is going to grow old and die...and he will never grow old and die. On the other hand, the battle against Nerezza doesn't end when they find the third star, they also have to go back to the Crystal Island and fight the last battle.
For me this story has been magnificent, I liked the first book (it's my favorite), the other two I liked a lot, they have been exciting stories and I loved the denouement.
