Udoka's Nemesis is a children book I regard to be a children's short story novel. The book was written by Odinakachukwu James who is regarded to be from the Igbo tribe Nigeria. The book has 5 chapters and 60 pages with no year of publication, no publishers name, and no place of publication. The book has ISBN: 978-978-55762-6-9.

Udoka's Nemesis book is a kind of book that focuses with the interest of children but with how life is the book also has a very big lesson for adults and the aged. Before I talk more about the book I will first say as a professional Librarian the cover and the image of the book is too poor instead of the publisher to make use of real white material for the printing of the book but he ended making the book look inferior because he's only interested with not to spend much money as the expenses for the book printing and publishing. A good book cover with good quality images in a book speaks a lot about the originality of the book. a book is supposed to look attractive by its quality to make the book go viral and attract people's interests whether the book is for children or adults.

As a professional Librarian without been biased the book has no summary or abstract explaining in brief what the book talks about instead the publisher only focused on academic history of the author. The publisher didn't even brief the readers about where the author is from. What most publishers need to know is that it's very important to summarize a book whether the book is for children or adults because summary of a book usually carry almost all the information about the book that readers who are not ready to spend their time reading all the content of the book can easily scan through the book summary.

The book talks about how people especially children need to be obedient to their parents whether their biological or not but whoever that nurtured you from child to adulthood should be considered your mother and must be respected. The book talks about how famimilea faces a lot of challenges due to death when you loos your parents seriously you have missed something big in life because in some issues that will demand your parents to assist you with information that is supposed to reshape your life will no longer be there. The book made us to understand that wealth alone is not life but what matters is having our loved ones alive matters a lot. Looking at the book we must learn how to avoid what people say but what those that nurtured us and we must learn how to be one in our family whether extended family or not.

Ume was a very wealthy man who has a very lovely wife but because life Ume's wife Obidiya from Ozu village died living only one son called Ikenga because Ume as a man can't handle nurturing Ikenga from his childhood age he end marrying another wife called Nkiru and as God may have it Nkiru successfully has a wonderful son called Ogadinma. The author made us to understand that Nkiru was a virtuous woman who didn't hate his step son but loved him with all her heart the same way she love her own son Ogadinma. We all know that no one lives forever so Ume died. Immediately Ume died living so much property Udoka who is the younger brother to Ume realized it was his opportunity to claim all umer left behind as a property before he died.

Udoka was very lazy who was only interested in acquiring his late brothers property forgetting he has two sons. Udoka's only know that the only way he can successfully acquire his brothers property was to create hatred for his nephews. Udoka succeeded to acquire most of the important properties after convincing Ikenga that Nkiru was not his biological mother as he later developed hatred for his family. But because there's law of camma. Odinanakchi being an offspring generation of Ume later came back to fight for his inheritance right after his grandparents Obidiya appeared to him in a dream. Odinakachi was exposed and later used lawyers and elders of Ozu to claim all the lost properties from Udoka. Udoka later became wretched and later died and was buried in the evil forest.

I don't usually completely judge a book by its cover, sometimes it's better than what it seems, but this one didn't catch my attention at all. Although the story can be interesting from what you described, they could've done the cover better, so I totally agree with what you mentioned at first

This sounds good as books must be of quality.
