As someone who's always been on the giving end, I have spent my life showering loved ones with thoughtful gifts.
Apparently, your love language is giving gifts, one of the five love languages explored by Gary Chapman in his book, The 5 Love Languages: How to Express and Experience Love.😄
I’m honored that you’ve chosen my recommendation as a book to gift yourself for your birthday.😃
If you enjoy non-fiction, I have two suggestions for you:
- Step by Step by Simon Reeve
- East of Croydon by Sue Perkins
Both authors work for the BBC, and their books are super interesting travel memoirs that share their adventures and documentaries. They offer a wonderful mix of personal stories, cultural insights, and humor. I’ve learned so much from them and thoroughly enjoyed their work.
If anything related to World War 2, then perhaps Night by Elie Wiesel. It's a memoir though, about his Holocaust experiences which can be depressing.🙏
Hello there, @coloringiship . You are right, one of my love languages is giving gifts. It puts a smile on my face.
I'll check these books out. Their titles and covers seem interesting.
