Her writing is straightforward because she stripped all the explanations and left the descriptions intact. I wish I could read it in French. I think it's more impactful to read it in French. The English translation is okay, but I think they can be a bit too dry on some parts that are challenging to follow. Maybe the problem is my English proficiency, but still, I think it could be translated better.
