¡Hola amigos lectores! ¿Qué tal sus lecturas? Las mías vienen muy bien por suerte. Hoy les vengo a compartir la reseña del 4to libro de la saga La rueda del tiempo, El ascenso de la sombra del autor Robert Jordan.
Hello fellow readers! How are your readings? Mine are coming along very well thankfully. Today I'm here to share with you the review of the 4th book in The Wheel of Time series, The Shadow Rising by author Robert Jordan.
La historia sigue desde el final del libro anterior, con Rand liderando en Tear junto a sus amigos, las Aes Sedai y los Aiel. Los caminos de ellos se ven divididos con Rand yendo hacia la tierra de los Aiel, su gente, para cumplir la profecía de Rhuidean. Perrin debe ir con Faile y Loial a Dos Ríos para proteger a sus familiares de los trollocs y los Capas Blancas que están pidiendo su cabeza. Y Elayne y Nynaeve viajan hacia Tanchico para seguir el rastro de las Aes Sedai del Ajah Negro. Mientras Tar Valon se encuentra al borde de una crisis y el Oscuro va ganando poder para liberarse de su prisión.
The story continues from the end of the previous book, with Rand leading in Tear along with his friends, the Aes Sedai and the Aiel. Their paths are divided with Rand going to the land of the Aiel, his people, to fulfill Rhuidean's prophecy. Perrin must go with Faile and Loial to Two Rivers to protect his kin from the trollocs and the White Cloaks who are calling for his head. And Elayne and Nynaeve travel to Tanchico to follow the trail of the Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah. While Tar Valon is on the verge of a crisis and the Dark One is gaining power to free himself from his prison.
Un libro más que interesante, con mucha acción y momentos de tensión, al igual que de escenas que no sabía que necesitaba hasta que pasaron. Fue una muy buena 4ta parte de esta saga tan larga. Lo único que le sigo encontrando de malo es que es muy densa de leer y no posee muchos diálogos por lo que no es tan dinámica en ese sentido. Pero como clásico de fantasía es impecable.
A more than interesting book, with lots of action and tense moments, as well as scenes that I didn't know I needed until they happened. It was a very good 4th part of this long series. The only thing I still find bad is that it is very dense to read and does not have many dialogues so it is not so dynamic in that sense. But as a fantasy classic it is impeccable.
Cada vez se van complicando más las cosas para nuestros héroes y eso lo hace más interesante. Me gusta por donde está yendo todo. Los enemigos por ahora no parecen ser tan poderosos a pesar de los destrozos que hacen, pero quiero ver que pasa cuando el Oscuro logre liberarse porque es obvio que va a pasar en algún momento.
Things are getting more and more complicated for our heroes and that makes it more interesting. I like where everything is going. The enemies for now don't seem to be that powerful despite the wreckage they do, but I want to see what happens when the Dark One manages to break free because it's obvious it's going to happen at some point.
Me gustó mucho el apartado romántico encabezado por Perrin y Faile, era lo que estaba necesitando de esta saga. Ojalá se sumen más romances de los buenos. Amé a perrin en este libro y su narración es de mis favoritas, por mi podría narrar toda la historia que estaría muy satisfecha, pero bueno, se necesita de los otros puntos de vista.
I really liked the romance section headed by Perrin and Faile, it was what I was needing from this series. Hopefully more of the good romances will be added. I loved perrin in this book and his narration is one of my favorites, for me he could narrate the whole story I would be very satisfied, but well, you need the other points of view.
El final me dejó con muchísimas ganas de continuar con el 5to libro, pero voy intercalando lecturas para no saturarme, ya tendré tiempo de seguir con esta aventura. Por lo pronto, todavía tengo que seguir procesando lo que pasó en este libro y juntando energías para leer el próximo.
The ending left me with a great desire to continue with the 5th book, but I'm reading in between so I don't get saturated, I'll have time to continue with this adventure. For now, I still have to continue processing what happened in this book and gathering energy to read the next one.
