Bought these two beauties while waiting on a connecting plane at Lisbon airport.
Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune is quite fresh book, a continuation of his The House in the Cerulean Sea which was magical. I expect that this one will be full of wonders too. What I've learned from it? Things are not always what they seem too be, including people. They can be magical, literally. And they can have problems of all sorts. Be it within them or coming from the unwelcoming and hostile outside world.
Like this: "See something, say something!" Sounds benign? Well, innocent words can have dire consequences.
Cixin Liu is a mastermind behind Three Body Problem, of course. This book, A View from the Stars is a collection of short stories, essays, from last couple of decades. It should be an interesting read to see how his view developed into grand era and universe spanning masterworks.
I will put both books on my short term reading list with a high priority..

I haven't had the opportunity to come across these authors, but the books you mention here look interesting and I think they can be quite enjoyable.
Check them out, they are both worth it.
Mind though, they are so different. Klune with his wild imagination and gentle English humour with a gay twist, Liu with his dark philosophy and vision of grandeur spanning millenniums and universes.
