What I liked most about this story is to see how the evolutions of these characters were captured.. Clearly reading you will see how they are not perfect, how they make some questionable decisions, but I personally like this, it makes us connect more with them, it makes everything feel a little more real. And well, to see how they mature and face different fears and fight for their dreams, it's very charming.. It makes you feel part of their story. The narrative is very interesting, it grabs you from the very first moment.. because of the way it plays with time, giving us little glimpses into the future, and creating a tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know more and more.

Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are very well. Today I come with something more spicy than usual and are books that personally I feel that do not deserve all the fame they have or had at the time, so let's start.

I was a teenager when I first read "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson. From that moment on, all stories about pirates, ships and treasure will always capture my full attention. With current books something happens to me and that is that most of them are of a genre called "Romantasy" in which they mix romance and fantasy and that's where the whole plot is centered. So obviously I started reading this book with a lot of caution and apprehension.

In any case, I enjoyed it, in the broad sense, from beginning to end. It is necessary to point out that if you decide to read it, you will do it in one sitting. I read the Spanish digital edition (available) on the Lectulandia website, which is 78 pages long. Of course, if we discount the cover acknowledgment and reference pages, the single chapter does not exceed 70 pages.

Under one of my recent post I got an especially inspiring reply, containing a quote from a Podcast. My curiosity made me check out the Podcast, I listened to it while cycling through one part of Switzerland. As I got struck by many concepts and ideas they had suggested, I eventually decided to get the book one of the two, Matthew Hussey, had written: “Love Life”.
What is Hive Book Club?
Hive Book Club is a community made by book lovers, for book lovers. A place where the chaotic minds of writers may punch away words from their keyboards as they share their writing adventures. Where passionate book collectors may rummage through their stacks of books to share and review their latest additions. Outside of our regular curation process, we may create contests for our community to participate in, and earn even more from their posts. If you have a certain theme for a future contest you would like to see, let us know! Be sure to check with us frequently on our various social media platforms to avoid missing out!
How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?
For those of you curious as to how you may have been chosen or would like to be chosen in the future in one of these compilations: we scan through the community and read the many posts that the community members write. We then select four or five posts that we believe meet certain criteria and are worthy of sharing with the rest of the community. We aim to keep these selections diverse in style, from writing skills or subject matter.
Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually handpick the posts. Some factors include the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort.
