There's no minimum of words and feel free to tell us about the recent book and why it's pretty surprising.

This isn't a contest but a weekly prompt that will happen every Monday 😊 as perhaps throughout the week you have finished reading a book and wanted to share a particular experience when you finished reading a book. Let us know if you make one! there might be some tip along the way 😊

It's quite amusing that this book has been resting on the book shelf for over a decade and I'm only just reading it. Truth be told, I probably wouldn't have taken it seriously if I read it anytime earlier. We all go about our daily activities and during the course of these activities, we experience certain emotions. Some people are experts at masking such emotions, take the poker players for instance. If a poker player as much as demonstrates the tiniest bit of emotion, that could be picked up by the opponent. As such, it is great to know how to mask and also read other people's emotions sometimes.

explores one of the most important contemporary issues in today’s world. One of the reasons I picked up this book is that the author is a professor in my school. She is a professor of Theatre and Media arts, and I'd been hearing how good she is, so I wanted to check if she’d tick the boxes well. Another reason why I picked up this book is the title. “Not That Woman.” I have a thing for creative titles that pique my curiosity. As soon as I saw the book, my mind teleported to different places, seeking answers. Which woman? What happened to her? Why can't it be her? The title alone piqued my curiosity, even before I flipped the first page. I love it when authors craft creative titles that grab the attention of readers. Not That Woman by Tosin-Jobi Tume did just that. The title drew me in even before I flipped the first page.

After leaving under the mountain, and rescuing her beloved Tamlin, Feyre should be enjoying her well-deserved happy ending, but she can't really let go of all the atrocious acts she suffered in that place and those she was forced to commit to free her love, and the deal with the dark High Lord of the Night Court who has not yet appeared to collect on his deal also torments Tamlin, all this has sent Feyre into a whirlwind of despair, and now with the fall of the Kingdom of Amarantha, new enemies rise in Prythian and in the human world before a war that seems inevitable, but she will find an unexpected ally in the High Lord of the Night Court himself.

I'm a big fan of book fairs, I love that they can impart this culture anywhere and let your imagination fly with just ink and sheets of paperJaca is a very small town but with
Culture and education, its people are very friendly and whatever you ask about its history anyone can answer, in my case, it happened to me, that's why I imagine that a book fair/exhibition is so important for its few inhabitants and the tourists who are passing through. In the fair you could find all kinds of books from history, romance, politics but above all about the history of Jaca and its ancestors, traditions, travels, discoveries, etc, the fair was quite varied even for a very small one, I wanted to buy some but I only have budget to cover my trip, I'll just have to look for this time.

Like every good reader I have a collection of classic books, but today I don't want to talk to you about them but about my collection of Cuban books. It all started with my obsession with reading a single book that was impossible for me to read digitally (Hopscotch). I knew that a publisher in my country (Cuba) had published it once, so I started visiting bookstores regularly to see if I was lucky. It took me two years to find it, but over the course of all that time and on every visit to a bookstore I found something that caught my attention and well, my collection was growing.

What is Hive Book Club?

Hive Book Club is a community made by book lovers, for book lovers. A place where the chaotic minds of writers may punch away words from their keyboards as they share their writing adventures. Where passionate book collectors may rummage through their stacks of books to share and review their latest additions. Outside of our regular curation process, we may create contests for our community to participate in, and earn even more from their posts. If you have a certain theme for a future contest you would like to see, let us know! Be sure to check with us frequently on our various social media platforms to avoid missing out!

How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?

For those of you curious as to how you may have been chosen or would like to be chosen in the future in one of these compilations: we scan through the community and read the many posts that the community members write. We then select four or five posts that we believe meet certain criteria and are worthy of sharing with the rest of the community. We aim to keep these selections diverse in style, from writing skills or subject matter.

Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually handpick the posts. Some factors include the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort. If we choose you, or you happen to stumble across these highlights, please do check out the other posts we feature, and contribute to their curation and engagement!
