Previously, I had already shared with you my opinion about the first two books of this trilogy: Once Upon a Broken Heart and The Ballad of Never After, both were an enjoyable read; however, I am sad to say that this book was not so much. I finished reading it because I don't like to leave stories unfinished, I need to know its ending, but it was a heavy read. I started reading it with expectations, due to the previous books, and as I progressed through the story it got more and more complicated.Although this is my opinion, I have always considered that everyone needs to try things and have their own criteria. Since, despite not being to my total liking, of course it has good elements in the plot, which others might like more. For that reason, I will share with you my sincere opinion✨.

4000 weeks is the average lifespan of a human nowadays, that is when we are lucky to get to live to 80 that is. When you see the number it seems very little. As Burkeman states it: The average human lifespan is absurdly, ridiculously, offensively short.

I have all the answers to these questions. I grew up in the reformation era. At a time when the country was trying to recover from the economic downturn to the riots caused by 200% inflation, rising foodstuffs, choking fuel, and treason everywhere. I also kept seeing the yellow flag of a party adorning almost the entire country. It was as if no other party's flag was allowed to fly during the 30 years of Soeharto's regime.

Books to some people is an escape from reality. Before, I would have said I am one of them but with the way I venture into traumatizing novels these days, I'm no longer escaping from reality. Instead, I think I'm escaping only to live it through books.
What is Hive Book Club?
Hive Book Club is a community made by book lovers, for book lovers. A place where the chaotic minds of writers may punch away words from their keyboards as they share their writing adventures. Where passionate book collectors may rummage through their stacks of books to share and review their latest additions. Outside of our regular curation process, we may create contests for our community to participate in, and earn even more from their posts. If you have a certain theme for a future contest you would like to see, let us know! Be sure to check with us frequently on our various social media platforms to avoid missing out!
How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?
For those of you curious as to how you may have been chosen or would like to be chosen in the future in one of these compilations: we scan through the community and read the many posts that the community members write. We then select four or five posts that we believe meet certain criteria and are worthy of sharing with the rest of the community. We aim to keep these selections diverse in style, from writing skills or subject matter.
Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually handpick the posts. Some factors include the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort. If we choose you, or you happen to stumble across these highlights, please do check out the other posts we feature, and contribute to their curation and engagement!
Hive Book Club is supported in the OCD Community Incubation Program. If you like what they do for the community, OCD Has a Hive Witness ... @OCD-Witness! You can vote for @ocd-witness, with Hive Witnesses.
