Hey, bookish friends of hive! Have you ever tried finishing a book for only 3 days because it's just so good and you can't stop reading page after page? That's what this book is to me. It has been amazing! I actually finished this book a few months back and I can't believe I didn't write about it in my personal blog.
To tell you the truth, this kind of book/genre is not what Id usually pick on a daily basis. I'd want something light, funny, and inspiring to read- contrary to this dark, old Hollywood themed contemporary book. I stumbled upon this book through a friend's Facebook post and heard a lot of good reviews about it. So I gave it a try.
Without spoiling anything, all I can say is, this story has an unexpected plot twist. It's like every page has a revelation and I just can't stop reading it.
Synopsis
The story follows a young Hollywood celebrity that has been facing a storm of controversies especially relating to her love life. Articles are written one after another but people really didn't know the real story of her life. She has been married 7 times in her life and got divorced 7 times, all brought about an interesting story one can never expect.
Just like our normal lives, people gossip things about us that aren't even true. Or maybe some have half truth, but not until we tell the whole truth, people will believe anything that is out there without having a second thought.

I read this book a long time back, but it's one of those stories that stay with you. I of course do not remember everything about it but I still get transported back to the nostalgia of the book.
It was a 5 on 5 star read for me!
I read this book a while back and loved it madly. I empathized so much with Evelyn and her story.
