Okay, so the last few weeks have had me book-lorn. It was funny how reading novels were for me. I’d open my e-book app, and before I can scroll through to find a decent book, I’m hit smack in the face by some academic pdf or material, and out of guilt and fear of academic danger, I’d just focus on reading the material instead. Went on for days and into weeks. Prior to this time, I think I read a book that already set me off to a bad reading month.
The good news is that I’m back for a while, so that brings the issue of the perfect book to kick off my novel reading. Reading books can go either of these ways. You crave a book experience and then you read an amazing book that fuels your hunger and next thing you know, you’re going through books like a thirsty man in a pool of water, or you’re craving a book, you read something so foul, your bibliophile eyes bleed and the next thing you know, you’re back to a book slump.
I’ve got limited time, so I’m trying to prevent a book slump from happening. So, I need all the amazing books I can get. This is a plea to all book lovers who have read a book or two that impacted them, or one they genuinely enjoyed, or if you know me, one you think that I would enjoy. Any and all of that counts. I’m open to all genres that are exciting and scintillating, except Dark romance, of course, cause we talked about this, didn’t we? Lol.
Anyway, yeah, hit me with all you’ve got. Also, who uses or knows a lot about audio books? I love the feel of my hands or my eyes sitting through the pages, but I haven’t had the best eyesight in a bit. Or rather, I want to ration how I use my eyes, so that I don’t face too much pain before I have the chance to really explore anything of interest. So yeah, how do you guys get access to audiobooks and how does it work? Are the voices generic with a monotonous flavour? Can you change the voices? Do you appreciate books better?
I’m Looking forward to exploring options that I haven’t just as hard as I’m exploring books, and I’d love to have that experience starting with my wonderful Hivers. I see amazing book recommendations courtesy of this amazing Book Club community, but I know there are some of us who may not talk about the truly interesting books they’ve read or appreciate. These are those I’m speaking to.
So yeah, my Book family, I’ll deeply appreciate any good recommendations you have and I’ll do my best to give my feedback on each and everyone of them I read. Let’s do this, people. And in the meantime, I’m looking forward to all the amazing updates that have already begun in the community. In case you missed out on it, you may want to check it out in this post. Till next time, have a most splendid time.

I still prefer the old fashion book. E-books and audio books don't work for me. But, I think they might work for some novels which are for amusement only.
I came across an app called StoryShots. I did not use it yet. But, I want to try it for novels. What app do you have?
I loved His Dark Materials trilogy, though I've yet to read The Book od Dust
