A couple of days ago I received a call, which to tell you the truth I was not expecting, it is like the calls from someone you really love very much, but you haven't seen for a long time, well, that's how this call was.
On the other side of the phone was José Antonio Lovera, a great Venezuelan announcer, voice over and communicator, who also studied at the same university where I graduated in Maracaibo: Cecilio Acosta Catholic University.
The reason for his call left me cold. Initially, he only told me that he had recently published his first book entitled: “La Inteligencia verbal” (Verbal Intelligence) and how excited he was to take this step. He told me in detail about all the effort he dedicated during 4 years and that he felt very nervous because it was really a big commitment to write a book.
While he was talking about his experience on this side of the phone I was between happy, because he was telling me his experience, but at the same time intrigued, I thought it was great that he was sharing his experience with me, but it seemed to me that something was missing in the call and I was not wrong.
Before I finished talking José Antonio told me: Katha, you know that I would like to do a book launch where people have the opportunity to know what the book is about and of course that they do it first hand, telling them all the details myself, but I would like it to be as a conversation, as if accompanied by someone else and I would like you to be that person who accompanies me.
I confess that the invitation was a very, very pleasant surprise. Since I arrived in Valencia I had the opportunity to learn about José Antonio's work and career, in addition to the great talent he exudes just by speaking. In addition, his level of knowledge is tremendous, he is undoubtedly a walking encyclopedia.
Without a doubt I accepted the invitation, although I confess I was very nervous, but I interviewed him, it was a very pleasant conversation, and I came out of that great commitment that José Antonio put in front of me, not only because of the admiration I feel for him, but also because José Antonio Lovera is a communication professional with a great career.
The day after the interview I received a call from José Antonio again, this time to give me a copy of his book, I hugged him and told him how proud I was of him. I have not opened the book yet, but I know that from the hands where it comes from, it will surely become one of those books that are worth reading more than once.

Hace un par de días recibí una llamada, que a decir verdad no me esperaba, es como las llamadas de alguien que realmente quieres muchísimo, pero tienes tiempo que no ves, pues así fue esta llamada.
Al otro lado del teléfono estaba José Antonio Lovera, un gran locutor, voice over y comunicador venezolano, que además estudió en la misma universidad donde me gradué en Maracaibo: La Universidad Católica Cecilio Acosta.
El motivo de su llamada me dejó fría. Inicialmente, solamente me contaba que recientemente había publicado su primer libro titulado: “La Inteligencia verbal” y lo emocionado que estaba de dar este paso. Me contó a detalle sobre todo el esfuerzo que dedicó durante 4 años y que sentía muchos nervios porque realmente era un gran compromiso esto de escribir un libro.
Mientras hablaba de su experiencia de este lado del teléfono estaba entre alegre, porque el me estaba contando su experiencia, pero al mismo tiempo intrigada, me parecía genial que compartiera su vivencia conmigo, pero me parecía que faltaba algo en la llamada y no me equivoqué.
Antes de terminar de hablar José Antonio me dijo: Katha, sabes que me gustaría hacer un lanzamiento de mi libro donde las personas tengan la oportunidad de conocer de qué se trata el ejemplar y por su puesto que lo hagan de primera mano, contándoles yo mismo todos los detalles, pero me gustaría que fuera a modo de conversación, como acompañado con alguien más y me gustaría que tú fueras esa persona que me acompañe.
Confieso que la invitación fue una muy, muy grata sorpresa. Desde que llegué a Valencia tuve la oportunidad de conocer el trabajo y trayectoria de José Antonio, además del gran talento que desprende al solo hablar. Además, que su nivel de conocimiento es tremendo, sin duda es una enciclopedia andante.
Sin duda acepté la invitación, aunque confieso estaba muy nerviosa, pero lo entrevisté, fue una conversación muy amena, y salí airosa de ese gran compromiso que me puso enfrente José Antonio, no solo por la admiración que siento por él, también porque José Antonio Lovera, es un profesional de la comunicación con un gran recorrido.
Al día siguiente de la entrevista volví a recibir una llamada de José Antonio, esta vez para entregarme un ejemplar de su libro, lo abracé y lo dije lo orgullosa que estaba de él. El libro aún no lo he abierto, pero sé que de las manos donde viene, seguramente se va a convertir en esos libros que merecen la pena leer más de una vez.
