Teniendo en cuenta que hay libros que van a ser adaptados a pelĂculas este año, me di a la tarea de revisar cuáles me habĂa leĂdo, para saber quĂ© esperar y quĂ© no. Entre ellos encontrĂ© que el libro Mala Influencia lo leĂ hace muchĂsimos años, cuando era muy viral en wattpad y yo tenĂa la edad para que ese tipo de libros me atraparan al instante. Lo recuerdo muy bien, pero aun asĂ le di una lectura rápida para hacerles una reseña con algunas ideas en mente. Especialmente dedicada para las personas que quisieran ver la pelĂcula, teniendo en cuenta que ya la han estrenado, aunque no sĂ© dĂłnde puedan verla.
Considering that there are books that are going to be adapted into movies this year, I set myself the task of reviewing which ones I had read, to know what to expect and what not. Among them I found that I read the book Bad Influence many, many years ago, when it was very viral on wattpad and I was old enough for that kind of book to grab me instantly. I remember it very well, but I still gave it a quick read to give you a review with some thoughts in mind. Especially dedicated for people who would like to see the movie, considering it's already been released, though I don't know where they can see it.
En este libro vamos a conocer a dos personajes y bastante diferentes. Por un lado, tenemos a la protagonista femenina, la cual tiene de nombre Reesee Russell, una chica que es bailarina, bastante delicada y el tĂpico estereotipo de Wattpad. Por otro lado, tenemos a nuestro interĂ©s amoroso, Eros Douglas, el cual es un chico que inicialmente estaba como en un reformatorio, se pudiera decir que estaba como un poco privado de libertad, porque lo estaban acusando de algo que evidentemente Ă©l no cometiĂł. El padre de esta chica al querer ayudar a eros, ya que Ă©l es como el comisario o algo asĂ en la policĂa, decide sacarlo de ese reformatorio y darle un trabajo formal y quedar como a su cuidado el trabajo que decĂa darle es el de guardaespaldas de su propiedad, ya que en una presentaciĂłn de baile iban a intentar algo en contra de ella. Es por eso tambiĂ©n que este libro se le conoce como mala influencia, mi estĂşpido guardaespaldas.
La dinámica de los estos dos es básicamente odiar uno con el otro porque ninguno quiere estar en el puesto donde está. Ella no quiere estar custodiada y Ă©l no quiere cuidar a una niña mimada básicamente. Además, al mismo tiempo pasa como un pequeño suspenso, ya que a esta chica le comienzan a llegar varias cartas y eso hace que tĂş durante todo el libro estĂ©s al pendiente de cĂłmo se va desarrollando la relaciĂłn amorosa y tambiĂ©n quĂ© es lo que está pasando con ese misterio que evidentemente al final es que se resuelve. Obviamente, ellos dos tambiĂ©n pasan por muchas cosas y la verdad no siento que sea como el tĂpico libro donde la relaciĂłn es sĂşper tĂłxica, siento que lo manejan bastante bien y nace un amor bastante bonito.
In this book we are going to meet two characters and quite different. On the one hand, we have the female protagonist, whose name is Reesee Russell, a girl who is a dancer, quite delicate and the typical Wattpad stereotype. On the other hand, we have our love interest, Eros Douglas, which is a boy who initially was like in a reformatory, you could say that he was a little deprived of freedom, because they were accusing him of something he obviously did not commit. The father of this girl, wanting to help eros, since he is like the commissioner or something like that in the police, decides to take him out of that reformatory and give him a formal job and be in his care, the job he said he would give him is that of a bodyguard of his property, since in a dance performance they were going to try something against her. That is also why this book is known as Bad Influence, My Stupid Bodyguard.
The dynamic of the these two is basically hating on each other because neither wants to be in the position they are in. She doesn't want to be guarded and he doesn't want to babysit a spoiled child basically. Also, at the same time there's a little bit of suspense going on, because this girl starts to get several letters and that makes you throughout the whole book to keep an eye on how the love relationship is developing and also what's going on with that mystery that evidently in the end is that it gets solved. Obviously, the two of them also go through many things and the truth is that I don't feel it's like the typical book where the relationship is super toxic, I feel it's handled quite well and a beautiful love is born.
Honestamente, yo siento que es un libro para pasar al rato, es entretenido, es bastante corto,. Creo que tiene más de 50 capĂtulos, pero al momento de pasarlo como la versiĂłn editorial son como 300 páginas aproximadamente, lo que yo considero que es un libro bastante corto. Básicamente, esto es un romance juvenil, que tiene un poquitico de suspenso o un poquito de misterio, lo cual lo hace bastante entretenido porque le da como un toque diferente al tĂpico romance y ya. Este libro no siento que sea unas cinco estrellas, a menos que sea un adolescente básicamente te va a encantar, pero personas que somos un poquito mayores ya a estas alturas yo no siento que sea el mejor libro de la vida la Ăşnica forma de recomendar a una persona mayor a 23 años que literalmente no tengas nada que leer y distraer tu mente con algo bastante sencillo. Yo siento que al dĂa de hoy le darĂas a este libro tres estrellas porque no es una mala lectura y porque la verdad es bastante decente. Por otro lado, siento que la pelĂcula va a ser más o menos lo mismo que el libro, va a cumplir las expectativas, pero si estás en el pĂşblico al cual está dirigido, estabas bastante genial, asĂ que todo depende del tipo de cosas que te guste básicamente. Espero que les haya encantado conocer esta pequeña reseña, habĂa olvidado un poco de historia y la verdad es que me gustĂł bastante recordarlo, nos leemos pronto!
Honestly, I feel like it's a book to pass the time, it's entertaining, it's pretty short,. I think it has over 50 chapters, but when you go through it as the editorial version it's like 300 pages or so, which I consider to be a pretty short book. Basically, this is a young adult romance, which has a little bit of suspense or a little bit of mystery, which makes it quite entertaining because it gives it a different touch than the typical romance and that's it. I don't feel that this book is a five star, unless you are a teenager you are basically going to love it, but people who are a little older at this point I don't feel that it is the best book ever, the only way to recommend it to a person over 23 years old is to literally have nothing to read and distract your mind with something simple enough. I feel that as of today you would give this book three stars because it's not a bad read and because it's actually pretty decent. On the other hand, I feel like the movie is going to be pretty much the same as the book, it's going to live up to expectations, but if you're in the audience it's aimed at, you were pretty cool, so it all depends on what kind of stuff you like basically. I hope you loved knowing this little review, I had forgotten a little bit of history and the truth is that I quite enjoyed remembering it, see you soon!
