Desde que retome mi hábito de leer me he encontrado con historias que me ha gustado muchÃsimo y otras no tanto (Como es el caso de mis últimas tres reseñas), asà que lo que hago yo cuando un libro no me encanta, es, al finalizar, buscar otro que me llame demasiado la atención para que subir las expectativas nuevamente. Estaba comenzando con la saga ACOTAR: Una Corte de Rosas y Espinas de la escritora Sara J. Mass. Se dice que este primer libro combina la historia de la bella y la bestia con el mundo de las hadas.
Algo importante a acotar es que esta historia el mundo donde los humanos viven en un lado del mundo y las hadas del otro lado, en Prythian, divididos por un muro, los Faes y los humanos no se topan, de hecho los humanos le tienen miedo a los Faes y está prohibido que tengan como algún tipo de acercamiento a menos que voluntariamente algún humano decida ir al mundo a vivir. Debo mencionarles inmediatamente que me ha encantado demasiado, casi tanto como el universo "De Sangre y Cenizas", asà que vamos a darle una Review al primer libro de esta serie el cual lleva el nombre de la misma.
Since I've resumed my reading habit I've come across stories that I've loved and others that I haven't (as is the case with my last three reviews), so what I do when I don't love a book, is, at the end, look for another one that catches my attention so that I can raise my expectations again. I was starting with the ACOTAR: A Court of Roses and Thorns saga by author Sara J. Mass. This first book is said to combine the story of beauty and the beast with the fairy world.
Something important to note is that this story is the world where humans live on one side of the world and fairies on the other side, in Prythian, divided by a wall, the Fae and humans do not meet, in fact humans are afraid of the Fae and it is forbidden to have any kind of approach unless a human voluntarily decides to go to the world to live. I should mention right away that I loved it too much, almost as much as the universe "Of Blood and Ashes", so let's give a Review to the first book of this series which is named after it.
En esta saga vamos a conocer la historia de Freyre, una chica de 19 años que vive en una aldea algo pequeña junto con su familia, la cual es muy pobre, ya que su papá tenÃa mucho dinero, pero lo perdió todo, no trabajó más porque se enfermó, su mamá murió y sus dos hermanas (Nesta y Elain) pues digamos que no colaboraban. Asà que ella toma el mando y para no morir de hambre empieza a cazar para poder tener un poco de dinero.
Casualmente la aldea de Feyre es justo la más cercana al muro, y comenzamos esta historia en la temporada del invierno, donde cazar es muy complicado. Feyre en su momento decide cazar un lobo, ella sospechaba que era un Fae, resultando que la piel del lobo le dio mucho dinero con lo que ella podÃa estar un poco más tranquila con su familia, pero en una noche una bestia literalmente interrumpe su casa para llevársela ya que, según la ley, si un humano mata un fa el humano también tiene que morir a manos de otro o debe irse a vivir por toda la eternidad al mundo de los Faes.
In this saga we are going to know the story of Freyre, a 19 year old girl who lives in a small village with her family, which is very poor, since her father had a lot of money, but he lost it all, he didn't work anymore because he got sick, her mother died and her two sisters (Nesta and Elain) didn't collaborate. So she takes over and in order not to die of hunger she starts hunting to be able to have some money.
Coincidentally Feyre's village is just the closest to the wall, and we begin this story in the winter season, where hunting is very complicated. Feyre in her time decides to hunt a wolf, she suspected it was a Fae, turning out that the wolf skin gave her a lot of money so she could be a little more calm with her family, but in one night a beast literally interrupts her house to take her away since, according to the law, if a human kills a fa the human also has to die at the hands of another or must go to live for all eternity in the world of the Fae.
La criatura que captura a Feyre realmente es el alto Lord de la corte primavera, llamado Tamlin. Dando un giro completamente a su vida, Feyre ahora se encuentra conviviendo en el mundo de las hadas, esas criaturas que ella tanto detesta, con personajes como el atento pero serio Tamlin, Lucien la mano derecha del alto lord, Alis una sirvienta Fae y Rhysand un fae de la corte noche que suele pasar atormentando a Tamlin.
En la corte primavera no todo es tan malo, y Feyre comienza a aprender que los Faes realmente no son criaturas malas y comienza a agarrarle cariño a cada uno de ellos, quizás exceptuando a Rhysand. Ella se vuelve amiga de Lucien, uno de mis personajes favoritos en este primer libro, ya que es alguien con buenas intenciones, pero gracioso a su modo. Y ella también desarrolla sentimientos por el alto Lord, Tamlin, del cual se enamora. Pero, no todo es tan lindo, ya que la corte primera tenÃa una maldición. Todos ellos llevaban una máscara sostenida por magia, no se la podÃan quitar y llevaban asà casi 49 años.
The creature that captures Feyre is actually the High Lord of the Spring Court, named Tamlin. Turning her life completely upside down, Feyre now finds herself living in the fae world, those creatures she detests so much, with characters such as the attentive but serious Tamlin, Lucien the high lord's right hand man, Alis a Fae servant and Rhysand a fae of the night court who often spends his time tormenting Tamlin.
At the spring court all is not so bad, and Feyre begins to learn that the Fae really aren't evil creatures and begins to grow fond of each of them, perhaps excepting Rhysand. She becomes friends with Lucien, one of my favorite characters in this first book, as he is someone with good intentions, but funny in his own way. And she also develops feelings for the High Lord, Tamlin, with whom she falls in love. But, not everything is so cute, as the first court had a curse. They all wore a mask held by magic, they couldn't take it off and they had been like that for almost 49 years.
Esta maldición solo podÃa ser liberada si una humana, con un corazón lleno de odio, desarrollara y confesara su amor al alto lord, cosa que desconocÃa Feyre. Y cuando llega el dÃa de entregarse a por completo a Amarantha, la que les puso la maldición, Tamlin envÃa a Feyre lejos para que no le hagan daño. Feyre decide volver porque realmente lo amaba y cómo puede llega a Bajo la Montaña, la "corte" de Amarantha construida en el corazón de Prythian.
AhÃ, declara su amor por Tamlin y acepta los 3 retos que Amaranthe le pone. Si no me equivoco, fueron entre 2 y 4 meses en ese lugar, ya que sus retos eran cada luna llena, o algo asÃ, dependÃan de una fase lunar. Feyre estuvo en una celda, golpeada, con huesos rotos y casi que al borde de la locura, sin ayuda de nadie más que Rhysand (Y Lucien en una sola oportunidad), para su propio beneficio y su plan también. Este la buscaba en ocasiones para que Tamlin viera que estaba junto a Feyre y él no podÃa. Además, en una oportunidad, Feyre al borde de la muerte, hace un trato con Rhysand. Para poder curarse, ella debÃa aceptar estar 1 semana de cada mes en la corte noche junto a él.
This curse could only be released if a human, with a heart full of hatred, developed and confessed her love to the high lord, something that Feyre did not know. And when the day comes for them to give themselves completely to Amarantha, the one who put the curse on them, Tamlin sends Feyre away so that he will not be harmed. Feyre decides to return because she really loved him and as best she can, she arrives at Under the Mountain, Amarantha's "court" built in the heart of Prythian.
There, he declares his love for Tamlin and accepts the 3 challenges that Amaranthe puts to him. If I'm not mistaken, it was between 2 and 4 months in that place, since his challenges were every full moon, or something like that, they depended on a lunar phase. Feyre was in a cell, beaten, with broken bones and almost on the verge of insanity, with no help from anyone but Rhysand (And Lucien on one occasion), for her own benefit and his plan as well. This one sought her out on occasion so that Tamlin would see that she was together with Feyre and he could not. Also, on one occasion, Feyre, on the verge of death, makes a deal with Rhysand. In order to be cured, she had to agree to spend 1 week of every month in the night court with him.
Luego de los 2 primeros retos, los cuales eran MUY emocionantes, junto con la espera y el tiempo que pasaba Feyre en agonÃa, Amarantha le da un acertijo y un último reto. Feyre los cumple a la perfección y caen las máscaras de la corte primavera. Pero, Amarantha no lo iba a dejar tan fácil y le rompe todos los huesos a Feyre, y seguimos viendo todo, hasta su muerte, narrada por ella misma, pero con la perspectiva desde afuera. Hubo un revuelo y Tamlin asesina por fin a Amrantha y se reúne con el cuerpo inerte de Feyre.
Al momento llegan todos los altos lores de cada corte y, en un intento por salvarlas, cada uno da un poco de poder para intentar revivir a Feyre, algo nunca antes visto, y ella renace como Alta Fae. Los últimos extractos del libro son de ella adaptándose a su cuerpo, bastante rota por todo lo ocurrido y hablo mentalmente, también una despedida con Rhysand por la ayuda, pero sin duda alguna Feyre no serÃa la misma humana. Y yo debo decir que no volvà a ser la misma después de leer todo esto porque que PEDAZO de historia es este, es un resumen super mÃnimo, ya que es bastante extensa cosa que amo, Feyre es espectacular como personaje principal y todo es demasiado bueno de leer, sin duda alguna la recomiendo al 100%.
After the first 2 challenges, which were VERY exciting, along with the waiting and the time Feyre spent in agony, Amarantha gives her a riddle and a final challenge. Feyre fulfills them to perfection and the masks of the spring court fall. But, Amarantha wasn't going to let it go that easy and breaks all of Feyre's bones, and we continue to see everything, right up to her death, narrated by herself, but with the perspective from the outside. There was a commotion and Tamlin finally kills Amrantha and is reunited with Feyre's inert body.
Instantly all the high lords of each court arrive and, in an attempt to save them, each gives a little power to try to revive Feyre, something never seen before, and she is reborn as High Fae. The last excerpts of the book are of her adjusting to her body, quite broken from everything that happened and I talk mentally, also a farewell with Rhysand for the help, but no doubt Feyre would not be the same human. And I must say that I was never the same after reading all this because what a GREAT story this is, it is a super minimal summary, as it is quite extensive which I love, Feyre is spectacular as a main character and everything is just too good to read, I definitely recommend it 100%.

Esta saga es una joya!! Todos los libros (menos Una Corte de Hielo y Estrellas) son una maravilla. Pero el segundo libro es mi favorito, mi protegido.
Por cierto, deberÃas avisar que es un resúmen que contiene spoilers, para las personas que estan interesadas pero no quieren leer spoilers.
Totalmente! Yo estoy atrapada en Una Corte de Llamas Plateadas por semanas, se me hace muy pesado de leer y aún no lo termino 🙃 Y si creo que el segundo es el mejor de todos!

Woww, a mà me gustó mucho una corte de llamas plateadas. Aunque al principio me costó porque me caÃa muy mal Nesta jajaja. Pero después todo fue mejorando.
