La semana pasada les estuve compartiendo la reseña del primer libro de una sala que leí hace un rato y que quise retomar, ya que uno de mis objetivos de este año es finalizar con algunas pendientes. Como les mencioné anteriormente, se llama señores del inframundo y está escrita por la autora Gena Showalter. En el primer libro conocimos a la mayoría de los personajes y también nos presentaron qué fue lo que pasó con ellos, ya que está basada un poco en la mitología griega, como tomando algunos de esos personajes y contando una nueva historia. Básicamente es la lucha entre ángeles, demonios, criaturas de la noche, cazadores, humanos y los señores del inframundo Mundo, los antiguos guerreros que protegían la caja de Pandora. Así que conociendo un poco ya lo que es la primera historia, vamos a contarles qué tal me pareció el segundo libro.
Last week I was sharing with you the review of the first book in a room that I read a while ago and wanted to pick up, since one of my goals this year is to finish with some pending ones. As I mentioned to you earlier, it's called Lords of the Underworld and it's written by author Gena Showalter. In the first book we met most of the characters and we were also introduced to what happened to them, since it's based a bit on Greek mythology, kind of taking some of those characters and telling a new story. Basically it's the fight between angels, demons, creatures of the night, hunters, humans and the lords of the underworld Mundo, the ancient warriors that protected Pandora's box. So, knowing a little about the first story, let's tell you what I thought of the second book.
En esta segundo libro, nuestros protagonistas son Lucien, quien sería el guardián de muerte, ya que él está condenado básicamente a llevar a las almas al más allá por siempre. Y también nuestra protagonista es Anya, la diosa de la anarquía, hija del desorden y portadora del caso básicamente una diosa menor. La historia de Luciana, o el contexto de cómo llegó a ser el guardián de muerte, de tener este demonio, la pueden encontrar la primera reseña, todo el caso de la caja de Pandora y eso. Anya por otro lado, ella estaba encerrada en el tártaro, ella anteriormente había sido respaldada por la mala reputación de su madre básicamente y también cometió un error que básicamente la llevó a ser encerrada en el Tartaro, del cual escapar gracias a su padre que era el guardián del mismo y le dio la llave absoluta, un poder que muchas personas quieren y que al mismo tiempo estaría atado a su vida.
In this second book, our main characters are Lucien, who would be the guardian of death, since he is basically condemned to take the souls to the afterlife forever. And also our protagonist is Anya, the goddess of anarchy, daughter of disorder and the bearer of the case basically a minor goddess. The story of Luciana, or the context of how she came to be the guardian of death, of having this demon, you can find the first review, the whole case of Pandora's box and that. Anya on the other hand, she was locked in Tartarus, she had previously been backed up by her mother's bad reputation basically and she also made a mistake that basically led to her being locked in Tartarus, which to escape from thanks to her father who was the keeper of it and gave her the absolute key, a power that many people want and at the same time would be tied to her life.
Y es así como llegamos a que la historia de ambos protagonistas según, ya que cronos, el titan que derrotó a los dioses, le pide a Luciana que se lleve el alma de Anya para poder quedarse con la llave absoluta. Lo que no sabía cronos era que básicamente estos dos terminarían aliándose, a pesar de que la orden estaba ahí, para poder encontrar la caja de Pandora. Un grupo de los señores del inframundo se quedan en Budapest, el otro grupo va a Grecia y el otro grupo fue a Roma. En el grupo de los que fueron a Grecia estaba Lucien. Y en este viaje, básicamente, en donde Lucien se enamora perdidamente de Anya. También nos introduce un nuevo personaje que es William que si no me equivoco es el hermano de Lucifer, un amigo de Anya, pero que termina traicionándonos. Y entre una y otra cosa, de buscar los cuatro artefactos para poder encontrar la caja de Pandora, también perder la llave absoluta y poder que estos dos sigan vivos y enamorados, es lo que concluye este libro.
And that is how we get to the story of both protagonists according to, since Cronos, the titan who defeated the gods, asks Luciana to take the soul of Anya in order to keep the absolute key. What Cronos didn't know was that basically these two would end up allying, even though the order was there, in order to find Pandora's box. One group of the lords of the underworld stayed in Budapest, the other group went to Greece and the other group went to Rome. In the group of those who went to Greece was Lucien. And on this trip, basically, where Lucien falls madly in love with Anya. We are also introduced to a new character who is William who if I'm not mistaken is Lucifer's brother, a friend of Anya's, but who ends up betraying us. And between one thing and another, searching for the four artifacts in order to find Pandora's box, also losing the absolute key and being able to keep these two alive and in love, is what concludes this book.
A mí esta historia me gustó bastante porque no separan al grupo y es como bastante más sencillo de entender la historia. Me parece que la parejita de Lucien y de Anya es bastante linda, como Ania es una diosa y tiene como muchos poderes especiales le da un plus, me gustó que no fuera una simple humana y ya porque generalmente se suelen aburrirme un poco, me gusta que ambos tengan como que sus dones. Para mí este segundo libro es un cuatro de cinco estrellas, no es el mejor de todos pero es bastante bueno y entretenido, hay fantasía, hay romance, hay drama, hay traiciones y básicamente de todo un poco. Espero que les haya encantado conocer esta reseña, nos leemos pronto!
I liked this story a lot because they don't separate the group and it's like a lot easier to understand the story. I think the couple of Lucien and Anya is quite cute, as Ania is a goddess and has like many special powers gives it a plus, I liked that she was not a simple human and already because they usually tend to bore me a little, I like that both have like their gifts. For me this second book is a four out of five stars, it's not the best ever but it's pretty good and entertaining, there's fantasy, there's romance, there's drama, there's betrayals and basically a little bit of everything.
