I'm glad to be here again, this time with a new post in the Hive book club, bringing a participation in an interesting challenge created by @nicxi that I found great and practical, where 5 questions are posed for those who love reading. The world of literature is so wide and fresh, personally I am avid reader, regardless of the genre, because everyone always learns something, I hope you enjoy reading my participation and thanks in advance for staying to take a look.

Which is the first book you remember reading as a child?
—Dejando de lado aquellos libros escolares, que los leí más por obligación, quisiera hablar del primer libro que leí por gusto, lejos de categorías comunes o títulos famosos, era un cuento religioso sobre Jesús, el cual aún conservo con mucho aprecio en mi biblioteca, titulado: El castillo de la verdad, a pesar de mi corta edad, me agradó mucho la forma en fueron narrados ciertos acontecimientos de la Biblia, con sus ilustraciones asombrosas e infantiles, me llenaron el corazón de alegría, sin ningún fanatismo y con respeto a todas las religiones, pero el fue el primer libro que aprecié con el corazón.
Leaving aside those school books, which I read more out of obligation, I would like to talk about the first book I read for pleasure, far from common categories or famous titles, it was a religious story about Jesus, which I still keep with much appreciation in my library, entitled: The Castle of Truth, despite my young age, I was very pleased with the way certain events of the Bible were narrated, with its amazing and childish illustrations, they filled my heart with joy, without any fanaticism and with respect to all religions, but he was the first book that I appreciated with my heart.

What is the best time to read?
—En lo personal, por problemas de insomnio, la madrugada siempre termina siendo un momento perfecto para mí para leer, si tuviera que hablar de preferencias sería ese momento, ya que consta de una tranquilidad fortuita y puedo razonar con tranquilidad. Sin embargo, puedo leer en cualquier lugar, tengo la habilidad de aislarme aun estando rodeada de muchas personas, cuando me concentro en la lectura los demás o lo demás se vuelve imperturbable.
Personally, due to insomnia problems, the early morning always ends up being a perfect time for me to read, if I had to talk about preferences it would be that time, since it consists of a fortuitous tranquility and I can reason calmly. In which format do you prefer to read: digital, paper or both?
—Me encantaría decir que en papel, porque eso equivaldría a que tengo una amplia estantería en casa con la cual me abastezco, lo cual es igual a una economía estable, pero lamentablemente en mi país Venezuela no es algo fácil de lograr, y aunque en muchas ocasiones he hecho mi esfuerzo por comprar libros, no es un lujo que me pueda dar seguidamente, menos con betsellers que llegan a tener precios sufribles. Por esa razón, mi amplia biblioteca virtual es la que me acompaña desde hace años dándome a conocer acontecimientos, aventuras, romances, ciudades o teorías que me llenan los sueños de esperanzas. Además, existen aplicaciones maravillosas (viéndole siempre el lado bueno a las cosas) que aportan a la literatura y puedes tener tu propia biblioteca y listas de lectura al alcance de tu mano, como por ejemplo: Wattpad. Así que en pocas palabras, me quedo con la opción de ambas, ¿para qué limitarse? Ja, ja, ja.
I would love to say on paper, because that would mean that I have a large bookshelf at home with which I stock up, which is equal to a stable economy, but unfortunately in my country Venezuela is not something easy to achieve, and although on many occasions I have made my effort to buy books, it is not a luxury that I can afford, less with betsellers that come to have sufferable prices. For that reason, my extensive virtual library is the one that has accompanied me for years giving me to know events, adventures, romances, cities or theories that fill my dreams of hopes. In addition, there are wonderful applications (always looking at the bright side of things) that contribute to literature and you can have your own library and reading lists at your fingertips, such as: Wattpad. So in a nutshell, I'll take the option of both, why limit yourself? Ha ha ha.
What distracts you the most when you read?
—Bueno, anteriormente comenté que tengo la habilidad de leer en cualquier lugar, pero solo hay una cosa que me interrumpe la lectura y me es imposible concentrarme, no sé si a otros les sucederá, pero la voz de mi madre es hasta los momentos lo que más me imposibilita leer con calma. Mi cerebro no logra concentrarse porque algo le dice que debe prestar atención a lo que ella dice, aun si no está hablando conmigo, es como una obligación intrínseca que llevo de prestarle toda mi atención. Muchas veces me frustra, porque mi mamá es un ser bastante comunicativo y puede establecer conversaciones aleatorias con cualquier persona, así que si intento leer en un lugar cercano, no logro avanzar ni una sola página, y termino con dolor de cabeza por el esfuerzo de enfocarme en una sola cosa, pero bueno, que se puede hacer ja, ja, ja.
Well, I previously commented that I have the ability to read anywhere, but there is only one thing that interrupts my reading and makes it impossible for me to concentrate, I don't know if it happens to others, but my mother's voice is so far what makes it most impossible for me to read calmly. My brain is unable to concentrate because something tells it that it must pay attention to what she says, even if she is not talking to me, it is like an intrinsic obligation I have to pay full attention to her. Many times it frustrates me, because my mom is a very communicative being and can establish random conversations with anyone, so if I try to read in a close place, I can't advance a single page, and I end up with a headache because of the effort of focusing on one thing, but well, what can you do ha, ha, ha, ha.
Favorite genre?
—No tengo limitaciones en la lectura, puedo leer cualquier género, temática, con o sin ilustraciones, ensayo, novelas o cuentos, enciclopedias, diccionarios u opiniones que para nada comparto; sin embargo, mi género favorito siempre será el suspenso, suspense (del inglés suspense, que a su vez proviene del francés suspense, derivado del latín suspensus) o thriller, como prefiero llamarlo (del inglés; thrill, asustar, estremecer o emocionar), aunque no tiene muy buena reputación en materia de literatura tradicional, porque algunos la consideran solo una fase estructural de la historia, igual se ha convertido en un recurso literario amplio con sus subgéneros. Y en mis preferencias personales, el género que va de la mano con el thriller y mayormente leo, son las novelas policíacas, además ésta, en su modalidad de novela negra, posee una habilidad especial para retratar problemas morales, sociales y colectivos, en la mayor parte de las ocasiones con un elevado nivel de conciencia crítica, es una de la tantas razones por las que seguiré eligiéndola una y otra vez, y cómo no cuando uno de sus pioneros es Edgar Allan Poe con sus cuentos Los crímenes de la calle Morgue, El misterio de Marie Rogêt o La carta robada, los cuales recomiendo leer.

La tranquilidad que nos brinda la noche puede ser el momento perfecto para leer, en mi caso, puedo pasar hasta 2 o 3 horas leyendo, pasándome incluso de mi hora de dormir usual. Supongo que es algo en común que tenemos todos los booklovers, (aunque no es del todo bueno, pero qué más da XD).
