With the grocery cart in front of me, circling the aisle of a new supermarket, and the month's shopping list in hand, I had been standing in front of the shelf of books displaying the best sellers.

After reading the titles of some of them, I realized that the year was almost over and that I had barely spent enough time on that activity to have a list of 12 books completely read.

The relevant thing was not the quantity, but that I was losing the habit of reading and that somehow I felt stagnant in my life, as it had already happened to me a couple of years ago.

A few days later, being at home I could take a look at the physical books I had in the small bookcase and the ones I had kept in a box. Among them was one of the notebooks I had used two years ago.

Flipping through that notebook made me remember tips and moments that helped me get through the most painful times in my life, and among them was the challenge to read a book a week.

I had listened to that challenge in a podcast and it had described the process of how to start, how to choose the books, and even how to do it in case you didn't have enough money to buy new books or books on the topics you were interested in.

Everything was ready, I had the guide, I had time to make the list of the next books, and best of all, I had the motivation to take up the challenge again.

Today, after having ordered the physical and digital books that I will read this year, I wrote this post to share with you the challenge and my idea of writing a review of my experience with each book read, and if possible, to know if I have your support so I can conclude this challenge successfully.

This is the list of the books I will read (not in order), if you want to take a look at it, leave in the comments how many of them you have read and what you thought of them.

Thanks for reading this post and for your support so I can reach the goal.

Would you do this challenge or have you done it?

BOOK LIST

The picture of the book list is a bit impossible to read, it becomes pixelated even when you zoom in. I clicked to look at it, but it's not readable. Is it possible to write it down?😁🤗🤗

Hello @arduilcelebren

Yes, I had an image setup problem that I didn't notice until I made the post, but in the next post where I will share my experience with the first book read this year, I will update the image to make the list look good.

Thanks for the observation 😊

No problem 🤗👍

We are on the same boat 😅
Last year I didn't finish up to 10 books even, but this year I'm going 52.
A book each week. I've only planned out the next 4 weeks, the coming ones I'd discover new books as I go on ☺️

Hello @stevenson7

Nice to know there is someone else in this boat.

What books did you choose for these first 4 weeks?

In this post I had a problem with the image where the list of books I will read is, but in the next one I will correct that mistake, if you like to take a look at it, maybe some title will inspire you for the month of February. 😊

I will love to see you list, maybe I will get some inspiration from there.

For this first month of January, I will be reading

The Almanac of Naval Ravikant by Jogernsen
Atomic habits

All quiet at the front end
