Had similar experiences as well... and just as you said
It's saddening that the genre which I once loved so much has become grounds for extremities...
This is just the sad reality. Many authors are letting their imaginations run wild which can be a good thing and also really really pushed to the extreme.
For many authors, letting their imaginations run wild, is a good thing. But some are letting it run wild, in questionable ways. They've missed the point. I really wish they'll come back to it soon
