Good morning hivers, how are you ? Here I am again to review a book that I really liked, I had ordered it from the library because I had read positive reviews and I was not disappointed, I finished it in a day. The book is written by many people and you can say that the protagonist of everything is the mountain with its caves and tunnels and mysteries. Mysteries linked to the disappearance of young girls and to a very particular village where people lead a rural life, an extremely closed community and far from reality. There is Smilla, an aspiring journalist who lost her best friend in the mountain and investigates to discover the truth. Then there is Jesse, Rebecca and Edith, three kids who belong to the village on the mountain, an impervious place closed to strangers.
The hidden village in the mountains is however connected to a small town where they stock up on food and study, a young teacher with a traumatic past moves to this town and notices all the oddities of the village boys, also called wolf children for the wild nature that surrounds them and for their not always civilized ways. One day the only girl in the village disappears and from there both the journalist and the teacher begin to wonder about that strange community and its inhabitants. Why have so many girls disappeared in the mountains, what is the secret of this village of savages? What really happens up there? The book is really interesting, written in a fairly simple way, it is a suitable read for any type of adult. Each page is a new discovery, it can be defined as a kind of thriller even if the initial suspicion that there is something paranormal always remains, I highly recommend it!

Normally, I see longer posts over here. But, I like the fact that you were able to summarize it in a smaller amount of text.
It depends from the book That I reviewed 😂 sometimes I make too very long posts the problem with this book is that it's full of things that can be a spoiler so I have to summarise my review.
I don't see any problem with having a short teaser for the book. I think the reader would always decide how to talk about the book they read from their point of view.
That sounds like the book that's worthy to read. Thank you for sharing this experience with us 😊
Thank you very much for this community 💕💕
Hey, how interesting that book sounds. I haven't read it, but your review made me itchy! That thing about a town hidden in the mountains, super closed off, with people disappearing and kids they call “wolf children”... ouch, I love that kind of mystery! I'm definitely making a note of it to look for it. thanks for the recommendation, sounds great! 👍
Thanks ❤️❤️
