I think books were my first friends :)

They still are my friends.

My graduate studies were in comparative literature (came close but never finished that degree) and then in the humanities with a specialization in literature (finished that one). Books are all around me, always.

I wrote and self-published books (won't tell you which ones because they weren't very good). I helped a couple of friends to write and self-publish books (memoirs). These were life-long ambitions, finally realized. Satisfying for me to have a part in that. Didn't matter if the books sold. They were made.

For a while, I even reviewed books for Midwest Book Review.

I really like books😇
(Long answer to a simple question).

thank you it was a pleasure for me to read this long answer, no problems at all

These were life-long ambitions, finally realized.

and, !LUV this part a lot. if we will leave after our life's completed such a good stuff, nothing to sorrow about, right?

I am involved right now in a huge project (extra from my primary job) that is devoted to the great Flood of 1924, one of three among 300+ the greatest floodsd that visited my city. It would be a marvelous and very divercified survey on very various aspects of that event. and of course stunning photos.... (just boasting!)

Not boasting. Writing to an interested audience. My undergraduate degree was in history!!😆 Let me know when the book comes out. You have one purchase here, already.

Not anywhere soon. Probably in the beginning of 2024 or late ... well, depends also on the situation here. And it will be in Russian, note it. But I gladly can share with you a draft pdf version at some point, if you promise not to share it :P

I promise not to share. Can't promise to be here in 2024. I'm quite old.🙂
