Going through my personal library I came across the book Poetic Anthology by César Vallejo. I didn't remember I had it in my possession, but its attractive fuchsia decoration led me to read it again. Definitely, the experience makes the gaze become sharper, more detailed and intimate. Returning to this work was to meet again with that college girl who devoured books for pleasure and with whom I am connecting again. In this edition we will find a compilation of poems from 4 significant works: Los heraldos negros, Trilce and Poemas póstumos I y II.
Revisando en mi biblioteca personal me topé con el libro Antología poética de César Vallejo. No recordaba que lo tenía en mi poder, pero su atractiva decoración fucsia me llevó a leerlo otra vez. Definitivamente, la experiencia hace que la mirada se vuelva más aguda, detallista e íntima. Volver a esta obra fue reencontrarme con aquella muchacha universitaria que devoraba libros por placer y con la que estoy conectando nuevamente. En esta edición encontraremos una compilacion de poemas de 4 obras significativas: Los heraldos negros, Trilce y Poemas póstumos I y II.

De allí que nazca el Poemario España, aparta de mi este cáliz.

En resumen, la Antología poética de César Vallejo no solo expone el trabajo de un reconocido autor vanguardista sino que proporciona una visión honda de la realidad social con múltiple matices. Si bien su obra se ubica a principios del siglo XX, es innegable su influencia en la poesía contemporánea y, por tal razón, se debe considerar a Vallejo como un precursor de la poesía y un visionario.
