Elantris has three main characters throughout the plot. Each one with different goals, difficulties, and ambitions, but is capable of doing their best to achieve them. Their convictions are so strong that they clash in the story.
The book is well worth reading.

The author knows how to show his characters very well, you get to love them. Their evolutions are the golden detail that gives a story full of richness and quality.
