SETTING
The setting of Paradise Lost poem takes place in three main locations:

1: Heaven
2: Hell
3: Earth (specifically the Garden of Eden)

I strongly recommend "Paradise Lost," an epic poem from the 17th century to anyone interested in religious, moral, and temptation themes conveyed through poetry. The poem retells the biblical story of Adam and Eve's expulsion from the Garden of Eden, but John Milton expands upon it by delving into the characters' motives and perspectives, especially those of Satan, who becomes a multidimensional and tragic figure.

Milton's language use is a standout feature of the poem. He writes in a grandiose and ornate style, peppered with allusions to classical literature and the Bible. The poem's formal structure and rhyme scheme also contribute to its grandeur and solemnity.

The themes explored in "Paradise Lost" remain relevant to contemporary readers. Milton explores topics such as free will, the consequences of disobedience, and the role of God in human affairs. Additionally, the poem addresses issues of gender and sexuality, particularly the flawed yet sympathetic portrayal of Eve.

"Paradise Lost" is a timeless masterpiece that offers profound insights into human nature and morality. I strongly recommend it to literature students and anyone interested in exploring the enduring themes of Western literature through the power of language.
