I feel there's also the slight variable for the dash of inspiration when doing that work.
Cause most times the quality increases and decreases by random factors like inspiration no matter the amount of focus.
ooh you're right! Newport certainly don't rely on inspiration to do the any kind of work. He mostly talks about goal, time and productivity. For people like us, inspiration definitely plays role. I mean, if we're so uninspired, that's also going to get difficult to focus and do any deep work.
