This is amazingly filled with numerous intricate and deep philosophical life themes and lessons. For a second, when I saw the setting as Seville I had a hunch that there would be a thing about religion in here.

Yeah, I agree; i love how even the location is deliberate; other thing i found really interesting is how the author contrasts his ideals with the ones held by Ivan during the novel
