RE: Book Review — A Pocket History of Human Evolution: How We Became Sapiens by Silvana Condemi, François Savatier

I grew up in the southern Bible Belt of the United States. When I was supposed to be taught evolution in school, my teacher didn’t. She said that due to school regulations that she didn’t have to but if anyone was curious she was talk to them on the side. That appalled me. That a science teacher didn’t have to teach all the science. Thanks for the book suggestion, it’s really good to get knowledge out there for others to see.

It's kind of amusing to see them trying to bar knowledge in this age of information. As if students won't be able to know these anyway if it wasn't on their book or not taught in school.
Things are brutal in my part of the world though, recently a science teacher was beaten up by the students as he taught evolution in the class and priotized it over creationism.
