I already watched the films and I like them before. But I think, the story will be better in books. But I'm not into romance and drama books so starting to read it is a challenge.

If you don't like reading drama and romance books, it is as you say, challenging. I recommend you only the movies, but already the books is a lot more drama than they show in the movies and that makes it very exhausting a lot of times. In the books they intensify the drama a lot.
