What's up book lovers...
Several days ago I reviewed the book Alfie The Werewolf. Although I didn't read it from the first book (but the third book), I can still enjoy the story (again) even though this is a story for children.
And talking about the story of Alfie the Werewolf, this is the fourth book and I still find interest in this book.
This is a continuation of Alfie's story after being kidnapped by Silvertooth. On a quiet night, Alfie accidentally overheard a conversation between two mysterious people in Wolf Wood where the wolves lived, including the Werewolf grandfather. Alfie didn't know what to do. He didn't even tell Tim and his family. However, when the class started, there was a discussion about the function of wood. Alfie remembered the conversation that night. He told Noura and Mr. French to protect the forest in their city. Mr. French was certainly surprised to hear Alfie's statement and began to plan a demonstration so that Wolf Wood would not be leveled.
Unfortunately, Alfie and Tim were too late. Several heavy machines had destroyed some of the trees in Wolf Wood until Grandfather Werewolf was injured. Alfie also just found out that in Wolf Wood there was a graveyard of their ancestors. Thanks to Leo's brilliant idea (Alfie's cousin), the heavy machines were fooled and stopped logging.
Mr. French, who led the demonstration against Boss and Rattlebones, brought Mayor along. But unfortunately, Mr. Mayor was tempted by the rewards offered by The Boss and the Rattlebones. The demonstration became very complicated because the Mayor continued to be confused.
However, thanks to Dad (Tim and Alfie's father) and his gang The Motorbike Mamas, Boss and the Rattlebones backed down. Moreover, several reporters came and reported on the plan to level Wolf Wood, The Boss and Rattlebones had no choice but to leave. Wolf Wood was saved.
In my opinion, Alfie The Werewolf Wolf Wood series is more interesting than the previous story which is filled with horror. The common thread of this story is quite common and close to children's daily lives. The message conveyed through this story is also very bold so I hope that when children read it they can care about the environment around them.
Talking about the children's story, before becoming a writer so far, I started my desire to write from a children's magazine that often provides children's stories. I even still have a big dream to write a children's story that can be published in the magazine. I hope that one day it will happen.
And I can't wait to read other books of Alfie The Werewolf.
Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
I enjoy reading children's stories; I think this is because I love imagination. Reading your review, I painted vivid imagery of Alfie and the forest in my head. This gives me the vibe of Rio 2, where the birds had to come together to chase away humans who were destroying the forests.
Thanks for sharing.❤️
Thanks for dropped by @justfavour I agree that we enjoy reading a children stories because we had lots of imagination on our mind..
I love that there is a focus on protecting the environment, especially in stories for children. It's great that you can enjoy the series even as early as the third book. Also, I find it inspiring that you have a dream of writing your own stories for children - I'm sure you'll get there!
Yup @jessuses1381 I like this story more because emphasize an environment issue..
