My humble opinion
I loved this book, would I recommend it? Definitely yes, for me it is not just a love story or drama but explores deeper themes, such as the cycles of behavior of abuse, forgiveness both between partners and towards our parents, self-love, the importance of healing past wounds, closing cycles so they do not affect our present, breaking those patterns that destroy us, the importance of surrounding yourself with people who add to you. Also, that the way the writer makes you love and feel so much compassion for a character like Ryle makes you question your thoughts. Also, it leaves you with the thought that we never understand situations until we live them.

A mi me encanto este libro, ¿lo recomendaría? definitivamente que sí, para mi no es solo una historia de amor o drama sino que explora temas más profundos, como los ciclos del comportamiento de un maltrato, el perdón tanto entre parejas como hacia nuestros padres, amor propio, la importancia de sanar heridas pasadas, cerrar ciclos para que no afecten nuestro presente, romper esos patrones que nos destruyen, la importancia de rodearte de personas que te sumen. Además, que la manera en que la escritora hace que ames y sientas tanta compasión por un personaje como Ryle te hace cuestionar tus pensamientos. También, te deja con el pensamiento que nunca comprendemos las situaciones hasta que las vivimos.

Seguramente el libro deja ver muchos más detalles que la película, que en mi caso fue lo que ví. Pero me encanta el enfoque que se maneja, la posibilidad de dejar atrás las ataduras, más allá de una sociedad o del que dirán. Excelente elección amiga. 🤗
