The editors' bible, or rather The Editor's Book (with the new spelling rules) by Elizabeth Díaz Gonzales could be considered the book of books at least within Cuban literature.
This is a work that serves as a guide in which we could consider the most vital action when it comes to publishing a book, editing. Because those of us who have been interested in one way or another in writing or in the publishing world, let's say that in one way or another publishing a book is 30% writing and 70% editing.
In this book you will not only find technical advice for editing or similar, but its pages contain the tricks of the trade at all levels. Whether for designers, researchers, editors, journalists. All have part of a chapter dedicated to them and the way they impact the editorial process.
Worth highlighting is the chapter that addresses spelling rules and how they apply to the world of books without nullifying the unique experience of reading each author, but at the same time bringing a rule already rigorously analyzed and established by the RAE, but which in the pages of this book are arranged according to the form of books that hope to be read on a massive scale.

Esta es una obra que sirve de guía en el que podríamos conciderar la acción más vital cuando de publicar un libro se trata, editar. Porque los que nos hemos interesado de una forma u otro en escribir o en el mundo editorial salvemos que de una forma u otra publicar un libro es 30% escritura y 70% edición.
En este libro no solo encontraras consejos técnicos para la edición o similares sino que en sus páginas están contenidos los gajes del oficio a todos los niveles. Ya sea para diseñadores, investigadores, redactores, periodistas. Todos tienen parte de algún capitulo dedicados a ellos y a la forma en la que impactan en el proceso editorial.
A resaltar es el capitulo qué aborda las reglas ortográficas y como estas se aplican al mundo del libro sin anular la experiencia única de leer cada autor, pero a su vez trayendo una norma ya antes regurosamente analizada y dispuesta por la RAE, pero que en las páginas de este libro se disponen según la forma de libros que esperan ser leídos de forma masiva.
El mundo editorial a veces parece un laberinto donde solamente encontrar la puerta de entrada es un reto, en las panigas de este libro, su actora nos deja esa puerta abierta y nos invita a pasar. Ya sea como autores curiosos de saber bajo que criterios pueden ser evaluadas sus obras, o habidos lectores que toda su vida soñaron con estar rodeados de libros y esta pueda ser la oportunidad que esperaban.
