Review

We begin the book with our protagonist, Nora, a student who is looking for a university scholarship and for the same reason she is one of the most outstanding students in her high school, we find ourselves on her first day back to school and here the problems begin her.

Coach McConaughy thinks it's a good idea to make some changes in his biology class, so he decides to reassign their co-workers, turning to Nora Patch, a student who has apparently repeated that subject a few times, the first meeting What they both have is something tense and funny at the same time, Patch is distant but at the same time he seems to know certain things about her, which catches his attention.

Nora has a little scare because she accidentally runs over a mysterious hooded man but her surprise increases when she sees that the man almost ripped the door of the car she was driving with his hands, pages later we see that Vee (her best friend) and she they meet two friends, Elliot and Jules after a few days of interacting the four of them decide to go to the amusement park, for a moment Nora meets Patch and they both make a bet, where they decide that if Nora screams when riding the new roller coaster they stay the rest of the night together, and if he avoids it, he asks the coach for a reassignment, Nora loses the bet since from one moment to another she is falling out of the seat of the attraction but she realizes that it was all her imagination .

The recent event added to the incident of the man in the balaclava makes her nervous and doubtful about herself, some events with Patch make her feel a growing attraction to him.

Nora has the feeling that she is being followed so Vee and she make a plan, Vee puts on Nora's clothes and moments later she is attacked by a person with a balaclava, this upsets Nora even more since it is obvious that the target it was her.

She decides to call Patch to help her since she had no other alternative, at a time when both establish an obvious connection, Patch reveals to her that he is a fallen angel and because of this situation he cannot feel anything in his body, in order to feel something in his body. The way to obtain it is by possessing the body of his vassal Nephilim in the Jewish month of Cheshvan, for that he had to kill her since her death would provoke the same reaction in his vassal Nephilim, but he does not do it since Patch realizes that he is in love with her.

Nora finds out that her school psychologist is actually Dabria, Patch's ex-girlfriend, who reveals to Patch that if he wants to be an angel again, he has to save Nora so that he can be her guardian angel, however he didn't want to be an angel anymore, but a human. In a lurid incident where he was Patch's best friend, Jules, Nora decides to sacrifice herself so that Patch could be human, since with her death Jules would also die, since she finds out that this was Chauncey, the Neflim vassal of Patch and wanted to take revenge against him for possessing his body in the Cheshvan by murdering Nora, Patch manages to save Nora by rejecting the opportunity to become human, becoming her guardian angel.

It is a book that is read very easily and quickly, the plot hooks you automatically, we can see a very large contrast of differences between the two protagonists, which makes many situations comical, the plot has a mixture of mystery, suspense, action and romance, although the characters have some questionable behavior is a book that leaves you asking for more.
