Jim Bakker, a famous televangelist who spent many years in jail for fraud, started pushing a product called, “Silver Solution” in which he claimed would kill the coronavirus in 12 hours. He was sued by the state Attorney General over these allegations, resulting in credit card companies allegedly not giving him payouts from online orders. Bakker is denying having ever suggested that his Silver Solution could cure the virus.

Everyone is taking advantage of the pandemic to make money, it's scandalous! It's like the people who claim to sell a cure for the coronavirus or the people who take advantage of the pandemic to sell their masks at exorbitant prices!
What I find incredible about this guy and unforgivable about the american justice system is the fact that this guy had already had legal issues (felony charges, sexual misconduct, fraud, was convicted, and did time), to put it nicely; and yet he finds a way to bounce back; a second coming of sorts and finds not only a free way to be back in business, but followers to be victimized.
I just don't get the american justice system. The guy was given several warnings. I can't help but wondering what the procedure might have been had he belong to a minority. I know this may sound reductionist, but there are so many people whose lives have been ruined for good because of some legal issues; and in some cases unfounded accusations destroy people's lives, making it impossible to even get a job.
I read this guy is even asking for donations now that his business is going bankrumpt.
I would not be surprised he he gets a release check or something.
I do not blame him, though. I blame the people who allow con men like this one to steal from them and the system that allows such business, disguised as churches, to exist.
So I don't know who's lying here, The bankers or Bakker. Truth is people are taking advantage of the pandemic to make money for themselves which is wrong and maybe a renown televangelist might want to use his fame to sell his alleged miraculous "Silver solution" I think blocking the on-line payment was necessary until the product is being investigated, these are really dark times.
Its almost poetic how Bakker has become a literal snake oil salesman.
Money drives crazy lol
Thank you for the article and you believe in its remedy?
Unfortunately, I think we never know it ):
I hope that people do not bother with his tales and lose money.
