There are many reasons why we should grow herbs at home. One of them is about freshness. If you buy herbs at the market they will wilt very quickly. That's why it would be profitable to have herbs that are ready to be harvested at any time and used to maintain the fresh quality of the herbs.
Also, herbs are very useful for processing into food and drinks. Whenever we want, our garden has provided it all. The most important thing is that herbs are very easy to grow with minimal care, because they are less likely to be attacked by pests.
I have several herbs in my garden that I most often use for kitchen purposes. These herbs are lemongrass, basil, bay leaves, and kaffir lime leaves. Those herbs are very popular as aromatic ingredients in food or drinks. I also have mint leaves.
This time, I want to process herbs to make a healthy breakfast menu. Also, of course, delicious and liked by my husband.
The following are pictures of my favorite herbs that I often pick for cooking in the kitchen. Starting from basil, bay leaves, also kaffir lime leaves. Also, lemongrass plants are in a separate place.
I will make aromatic rice, also served with stir-fried broccoli and tempeh with spicy flavor. I also harvest super hot chilies from my garden.
My chili plants seem to love me because they give me endless amounts of chilies. :) glad I have a supply of fresh chilies in my organic garden.
Apart from that, I also harvested a few long beans that were already elongated and needed to be harvested, or they would get old and not be good to cook.
Fresh ingredients from my organic garden make me enthusiastic about cooking healthy food, especially for my husband. Besides, I can save expenses. I no longer buy chilies and some of the vegetables at the market. Just from my garden. Doesn't that sound like a great accomplishment? And, I am very grateful for that and also appreciate your support for my hard work in the garden. :)

Serve the aromatic basil leaves on a serving plate. Add stir-fried broccoli with tempeh. You can also put your favorite sauce on your serving plate.

This dish looks like very delicious and nutritious Ma'am. And it is exactly that animals will not be really attracted to herbal plants and it is nice to plant more herb plants in our own Garden, surely the food or herbs we used are very fresh and less expenses.
Thank you for sharing this Ma'am. ☺️
Of course it is a great achievement, as well as admirable. I like to have agreed with this publication because I see that herbs are also part of your garden and I am a fan of putting them in my meals. I wonder if in this apartment on the 4th floor I could plant some of them in small pots, it could be an experiment, to be precise, basil attracts my attention, since I love its taste.
I have started to eat better, and it has been on my own, so reading you eventually gives me ideas, especially with this delicious food, everything you show here is easy to get here, unlike other posts where I don't even understand the Spanish translation hehe... All your work is very beautiful and exemplary, I wish you the best of days 😘
I love that you have aromatic herbs at home, I have also grown some, I had some Basil but it dried up, I hope to grow it again any time, because I know that they give a delicious flavor to some recipes.
As always your dish looks exquisite.
Best regards!❤️
The cultivation of aromatic herbs in the garden is ideal for repelling different types of pests that can attack our vegetables. In addition, we can use them to flavor our meals, which makes it fantastic to have in the garden.
I love this dish, it looks exquisite, I appreciate that you share the ingredients and the method of preparation
Have a nice afternoon dear friend @anggreklestari

Wow! So many leaves or herbs along with rice. We haven't tried putting lime leaves or we call it lemon grass while cooking rice. I learned from my parents before cooking rice with pandan leaves but lemon grass, not yet.
