Give you my feelings through a bowl of warm dessert to comfort you.
Imagine, now you are touching a bowl containing a warm dessert. It's cold out there, or, you just want something warm for your cold feeling without the warmth of the crowds.
Let the warm sweet food fill the feeling for the better. So let me tell you how to make a warm dessert from bananas and plant-based milk which I guarantee is super simple and doesn't require your cooking skills.
Even to make this menu, I did not measure the number of ingredients. That's just my guess according to feeling. That's not a problem, because this is not a measure of cake ingredients that must be accurate.
Enjoy my recipe!
THE INGREDIENTS
- Ripe Bananas
- Coconut Milk
- Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Pandan Leaf or Vanilla
- Water
I use a ripe banana that has a slightly firm texture, which is perfect for making a dessert with a warm gravy like the one I made this time.
Here, there are many varieties of ripe bananas for different types of cake making. How about in your area?
If you only have the kind of ripe banana you usually eat without being cooked, you can still make this recipe. It tastes like you pour warm milk on bananas, but with the added sweetness of brown sugar. Also, the taste blends better because of the texture of bananas that have been cooked with plant-based milk.
For brown sugar, you can also use palm sugar with a textured powder. But for a more yummy and savory taste, brown sugar is the right choice.

Pretty easy, right? Add unsweetened cream topping or coconut/almond flakes as a final topping. (Additional).

I often make these for dinner desserts for my mother and nephews. Sweet and warm, like a smile full of love. :)

It reminds me of a Philippine snack... but we use cardava banana and brown sugar syrup and sometimes with milk and tapioca pearls... We call it "Minatamis na saging".

The banana is love 💘💕
Oh yes! That's so delicious. We also do this kind of dessert for family snacks. Aside banana, we also cook sweet potato and cassava with coconut milk. 😋
Variety of banana available where I live longer and short like the ones you show for cooking, makes delicious curry too.
Sweets I have never tried in this manner, thanks for easy recipe to follow, my Mom loved overripe banana fried then topped with brown sugar and cinnamon, healthy flavours of the world!

I love this recipe it looks super delicious, great cooking my friend. Good evening!
This dessert has a very interesting combination of tropical flavors: The sweetness of the bananas, the freshness and depth of the coconut and the warmth of the brown sugar, undoubtedly make a perfect harmony of flavors. As always, your posts look like a work of art. Thanks for posting in the community.
This banana recipe just looks so fantastic! I love bananas foster and this appears to be a variation of that recipe.
I'd love to the all the ingredients are so easy to find. I think I might try making it this weekend. I love bananas and I love sweet things!
Cheers!
Sis it looks yummy, is it a kind of kolak you made?
Kolak Pisang is one of my favorite foods of all time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A warm bowl of noodles, soup, or anything that could warm you up without the presence of any person (or fur babies) heheeheh. The photography is always on point!
That looks really delicious, I like your presentation too. Unfortunately, you can't buy plantains like this in this country, and "normal" banana have to be transported a long way here and you can tell that by the taste, of course, because they're picked unripe.
Very creative! Stunning presentation 🌸💖🌸
thank you so much mom 🌸❤️
You are welcome Sweetie 💖😍💖
