Would you believe that I have NEVER made tomato sauce! Of all my recipes. Raw and cooked I have made tomato paste - raw with dehydrated tomatoes - of course. But never tomato sauce. I LOVE your recipe. With capers and olives it is a winner @sirenahippie!
Wow, this is really surprising, because I know you grow and harvest a lot of vegetables on your farm. Try making this sauce when you have tomato crops, I assure you it will turn out great, you can even make any changes you see fit to the recipe. And yes, the olives and capers add a unique flavor.
