Recently I tried mixing some vegetables that I have at home. I named it “Omelet Chinese Cabbage Filled Chayote and Corn ”.
Just a few pieces are enough to maintain 1 day's fiber. Just 1 piece will make you very full. With corn and chayote filling, I really like this vegetable omelet. I made this this morning to fill my 1 day. And yes, the taste is very extraordinary.
Do you know where I got the idea for this omelet? I often see this Chinese Cabbage omelet filled with chicken or beef. Then when I was daydreaming, I thought about replacing the meat with carbohydrates and fiber. And when I looked at the contents of the refrigerator, there was only corn and baby pumpkin. Then this one menu was created.. hahah
INGREDIENTS
300 grams of Chinese Cabbage
100 grams of chayote
150 grams of whole corn
1 pcs of garlic
1 pcs of shallot
½ finger joint of ginger
3 tbsp of black pepper sauce
¼ tbsp of salt
¼ of sugar
200 ml of water
HOW TO MAKE
- Separate the white cabbage leaves one by one. I used about 12-14 white cabbage leaves.

Then, wash the cabbage leaves thoroughly with clean water.

- Prepare water to boil the Chinese cabbage.
I boiled the Chinese cabbage just until it wilted but not too soft.
- While waiting for the mustard greens to cook evenly. Let's move on to the other ingredients.
Flatten or separate the corn from the cob. I used 1 sweet corn
After the corn is flattened, take the chayote. I used ½ a chayote. Peel the skin, then wash it to remove the sap from the chayote.
After washing, take a cheese grater. Grate the chayote.
Let's prepare the onion ingredients etc. Peel all the onion ingredients, then slice them thinly.
then saute the onion and ginger until fragrant. Then add the corn into the sauteed corn. Saute the corn until cooked.
Once the corn is cooked, add the grated pumpkin into the stir-fried corn. Cook until done.
Add 3 tbsp of black pepper, ¼ salt and ¼ sugar with 200 ml of water.
Cook until the water reduces. And adjust the taste.
Then lift and drain the white cabbage until no water drips.
- After the stir-fry is cooked. Let's wrap it with the white cabbage that we boiled earlier.
- Prepare 1 sheet of white cabbage, then add 1 tbsp of stir-fry on top of the white cabbage sheet. Wrap until the corn stir-fry is not visible as shown in the picture.
Repeat until all the sheets are finished. For small sheets, I added 2 sheets of cabbage. And roll as directed before.
White cabbage omelette is ready to be served.
Here I add a little sauce on top of this white cabbage omelette roll.
