Good morning all friends.. I hope you really take care of your health and also your lifestyle, friends.
Currently the weather is really extraordinary making the body sick, and yes. My family and I are being attacked by a fever, flu and cough, including my little child.
When the body is sick, but still taking care of children and family who are also sick, it really drains my energy, not to mention I have to think about what to cook. What an extraordinary pleasure this month is. hihihih
This morning, because of my throat that couldn't swallow and the excruciating pain because of this inflammation. Made me eat food that didn't hurt to swallow.
Red and White Rice Porridge
Because there were no ingredients in the refrigerator, and there was only instant coconut milk and brown sugar. Finally I decided to make rice porridge. Or we usually call it Red and White porridge.
Ingredients needed:
- 4 tablespoons cooked rice
- 100 grams of brown sugar
- 1 sachet of instant coconut milk
- 4 tablespoons of white sugar
- 1/2 sdm salt
- 1 liter of water
- 2 pieces of pandan leaves
Cooking Instructions:
- Cook 4 tbsp of cooked rice and 1 liter of water, until the water reduces.
Also add pandan leaves to the cooked rice and water
- After the water has reduced, and the rice has become a porridge. Then add 1 sachet of instant coconut milk. And cook until boiling
- After boiling, separate 7 tablespoons of cooked porridge, then add 1/2 tablespoon of salt.
Then stir evenly until the salt dissolves in the porridge. and the white porridge is ready.
- Then add brown sugar and white sugar into the remaining porridge that we just cooked. And stir again until the brown sugar dissolves. Then correct the taste. The porridge is ready to be served
This is why it is called red and white rice porridge, because this porridge cannot only be enjoyed as red or white. but must be mixed.
And this porridge is very delicious for healthy people and for sick people.
